Priyanka Chopra, who had played an ass-kicking, straightforward girl in Don, seems to be a 'junglee billi' in real life too!

During a latest interview, Priyanka said that if she ever discovers that her man has been cheating on her, she would beat the shit out of him. But, when the statement drew flak, Priyanka told that she visibly meant this as a joke and she did not mean that she would literally hit her man.

Priyanka added that it was an analogy of the passion that she would feel if a man cheats on her, not physical violence.

Why Govinda got angry with Krushna Abhishek?

Govinda, who was last seen in YRF film Kill Dil and Happy Ending, is reasonably an angry man these days. It seems that the reason for his anger is his nephew Krushna Abhisheik, who hosts the comedy show Comedy Nights Live.

News has it that Govinda was annoyed with Krushna for joking about him on the comedy show and for saying that he has 'kept Govinda as his uncle', which didn't really go down well with Chi Chi. Sources claim that following this, Govinda not only gave him a piece of his mind, but also denied to appear on his show and chose to make an appearance on rival show 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.

On his part, Krushna says that his joke about keeping 'Govinda as his uncle' was not meant to be derogatory at all and that he is quite hurt about the fact that his uncle did not appear on his show but chose to appear on another comedy show.

Actress Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are on cloud nine recently owing to their Hollywood projects Baywatch and XXX-The Return Of Xander Cage, but it seems that Salman Khan is not too enthralled with this, as he was spotted teasing the two ladies at the IIFA event, when the trailer of forthcoming movie Mirzya was revealed.

It so happened that after the trailer of the movie was shown, Salman insisted the organizers to replay it as he had missed it the first time. After making the request, Salman walked off the stage so that the trailer could be played, but other Bollywood personalities were left in confusion and though they left after some time, Priyanka and Deepika, who were unaware to what was happening around because of their chit-chat, became the butt of Salman's jokes. The irreverent Khan instantly joked that the actresses have forgotten Bollywood now that they have worked in Hollywood!

Nawazuddin defends Babumoshai Bandookbaaz director against Chitrangada's allegation!

Earlier, it had been informed that beautiful actress Chitrangda Singh walked out of forthcoming movie Babumoshai Bandookbaaz on the grounds that the film's director Kushan Nandy made her feel uncomfortable with the way he was pressurizing her to do an intimate scene with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

But, Nawaz finally broke his silence on the subject and told that there was nothing undesirable about the scene that was being shot and that contrary to what Singh has alleged, Nandy was quite soft-spoken and a thorough gentleman, who would never behave in a crass manner. On his part, Nandy is planning to sue Chitrangda for defamation. Chitrangda was supposed to play the role of a bold cobbler in the movie.

Mirzya's stunning new trailer introduces Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher!

We had informed that Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan Kapoor will be making his debut as an actor with Mirzya and the trailer of the movie was finally revealed last night at the IIFA event in Madrid.

Inspired by the folk story of 'the legend of Mirza–Sahiban, 'Mirzya' is an epic action-romance set in contemporary times as well as in the past. The trailer featuring Harshvardhan and Saiyami Kher hints at loads of drama, romance and action-packed sequences. But, the trailer does not offer a proper glimpse into the narrative as the constant shifting between a different era and the present, made us think that the movie might be a reincarnation drama. The cinematography and the camera work is awesome and the film looks visually delightful.

Harshvardhan looks dashing with his long hair and beard while Saiyami is easy on the eyes. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Mirzya is slated to release on October 7.

I should speak less now, says Salman Khan after 'raped woman' controversy!

Megastar Salman Khan, who got his share of brickbats a few days back for comparing his condition to that of a 'raped woman' after walking out of the ring of the sets of Sultan, has now decided to speak as less as possible.

Salman, who answered to a question about whether he would say sorry for his remark with a smirk while leaving for IIFA, reportedly told at the inauguration event of the awards event in Madrid that he won't take much time at the podium as he believes the less he speaks, the better it is for everybody concerned, including himself.

After Salman courted controversy with his 'raped woman' remark, his father Salim Khan took to his Twitter page to apologize on his son's behalf and to add that though his example and context was wrong, the intention wasn't.

Salman will be next seen playing a Haryanvi wrestler in YRF movie Sultan.

Deepika Padukone's advice for overambitious parents!

Deepika Padukone, who is back to India after finishing the shooting of her Hollywood debut, XXX: The Return Of Xander Cage, freshly cheered up a discouraged student, who was disappointed with his result.

Deepika shared the incident with her fans, sharing, ''Just met a boy in the lift who was very disappointed with his results… His mother said you are so successful you must have have scored well! 65% I said...she says, that's it!? "Yes Aunty...that's it!" there is soo much more to life than just academics, grades and results (sic).''

Deepika Padukone, who stayed out of India for quite some time as she was busy with the shooting of her debut Hollywood movie, XXX: The Return Of Xander Cage, has now returned to India and she tells that she missed being home all this while.

The actress was lately quoted telling, "India is home, and that's never going to change. My roots are here, and at the end of the day, it's about your roots. You can't take India out of me. People go for holidays, but eventually, come back home. So, no matter where I go in the world, this is home, and that will never change.''

Salman Khan's rape comment was 'Horrible and Insensitive', says Kangana Ranaut!

Bollywood megastar Salman Khan has found himself in a tough spot after his comment that he used to feel like a 'raped woman' after wrestling for Sultan and though most celebrities have been defending his statement, Kangana Ranaut did not pull her punches at all.

During a media communication, when asked for her reaction on this, Kangana told, “We all agree that it is a horrible thing to say. It's extremely insensitive but I'd also like to say that we shouldn't encourage the tendency to point fingers at each other and feel superior by pulling each other down. As a society, we have to take responsibility and stand united. This is disgraceful for a society, not an individual. We collectively feel sorry for that thought process."

After Salman's 'insensitive' statement, his father Salim Khan took to Twitter to make an apology on his son's behalf and added that though Salman's intention was not wrong, the example and the context was wrong.

Akshay Kumar praises Sonakshi for pushing boundaries in 'Akira'!

Akshay, in his tweet, admired Sonakshi for pushing the boundaries. He also told that he can't wait to see AR Murugadoss's forthcoming movie Akira, which stars Sonakshi. Akshay shared the poster of the movie and posted, ''All power to Sonakshi 4 pushing boundaries & making hero orientated Directors see u 4 all ur worth #CantWaitForThis.''

Sonakshi and Akshay have worked together in Murugadoss's Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. Apart from that, they have worked in Shirish Kunder's box-office disaster, Joker and Sonakshi made a special appearance in a song in Akshay's movie Boss. Trailer of Manoj Bajpayee starrer 'Budhia Singh-Born To Run' is out!

Manoj Bajpayee, who was lately seen in short movie Kriti, will be next seen playing the coach of Budhiya Singh, the world's youngest marathon runner, in Budhia Singh-Born To Run and the trailer of the movie was released freshly.

The film stars child actor Mayur as the titular Budhia Singh and Manoj Bajpayee as his coach Biranchi Das. The movie is about Budhia Singh, an underprivileged boy, who was trained by his coach to run a 70 km marathon, listing him as the World's smallest marathon runner under Limca Book of Records. The trailer also goes on to show the challenges that Das has to face because of his decision to take the marathon runner under his wing to train him. The trailer looks quite promising and the film is sure to be an inspiring sports drama.

Directed by Soumendra Padhi, Budhia Singh-Born To Run, is slated to release on August 5 this year.
