Arjun-Kareena’s airport tête-à-tête is reason behind the casting of Ki And Ka!

Ever since it was declared that Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen paired opposite each other in R. Balki's movie Ki And Ka, there has been a major news about the unusual casting and Arjun finally spilled the beans on the casting decision.

In an interview, Arjun told that Balki had seen a photograph of Arjun and Kareena walking out of an airport together after an event and he liked the way the two actors looked with each other and so decided to cast them in the movie. Arjun further added that as he and Kareena are good friends, it was easy for them to be comfortable with each other during the shooting of the movie.

Apart from Arjun and Kareena, Ki And Ka also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan in cameo appearances.

Kareena Kapoor Khan gave her nod to 'Ki And Ka' before the narration was ended!

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who will be next seen playing an ambitious woman in R. Balki's forthcoming movie Ki And Ka, recently admitted that she liked the story so much when it was narrated to her that she gave her nod to the film even before the narration was finished.

Kareena told that after hearing the first half of the story, Kareena interrupted Balki, who was giving her a narration and gave her nod to the movie without even waiting for the second half of the film, in which she will be paired opposite Arjun Kapoor. Apart from the two, the movie will also star Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan in cameo appearances.

Ki And Ka, which mocks at gender stereotypes, is slated to release on April 1.

'Ki And Ka' will spell trouble for married men, says R. Balki!

R. Balki, who lately launched the trailer of his forthcoming movie Ki And Ka starring Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, hinted that the film might spell trouble for married men as their wives will start expecting their hubbies to be like Arjun Kapoor's character Kabir.

Balki joked, ''My wife Gauri Shinde has already started nagging me about why I cannot be like Kabir, though I do cook for her at times.” Balki further added that as Arjun is seen taking care of the house and pampering his wife at home, wives will start taking their husbands to task after watching the movie.

Ki And Ka, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan in cameo appearances, is slated to release on April 1.

Saif made pasta once for me in 12 hours: Kareena Kapoor Khan

In upcoming movie Ki And Ka, Kareena Kapoor Khan plays an ambitious and career-oriented woman, while Arjun Kapoor plays a progressive husband, who doesn't have any issues with looking after the house and cooking for his wife.

During the trailer launch event of the movie, when Kareena was asked if her husband Saif Ali Khan has ever cooked anything for her, Kareena told, “I don't think Saif is a good cook. He once decided to make pasta for me and ended up taking around 12 hours for it!” At this, her co-star Arjun, who was sitting next to her, joked, “But at least the Nawab had his heart in the right place!”

Approving the same, Arjun told, ''I really felt glad when Saif sir sent me a text message and praised me. He has made a name for himself in the rom-com genre and getting praised from such an actor was a pleasure indeed.''

Crew are fighting on the ‘Ki And Ka’ set for Lebanese chicken dish cooked by Arjun Kapoor!

Arjun Kapoor, who will be seen playing a stay-at-home husband in R. Balki's forthcoming movie Ki And Ka, is seen cooking in some sequences of the movie and the actor seemingly learned to cook a few dishes for the same.

It seems that Arjun has become so skilful at cooking that the film team ended up fighting over the food that he had once cooked on the sets of the movie. A source told, ''Everyone on the sets loved the Lebanese chicken dish that Arjun had whipped up and people were literally fighting over the dish. The makeshift kitchen set was a fully functional one and Arjun had a blast trying his hand at cooking". The actor had apparently requested the chef of his favorite Lebanese restaurant at the Taj to come to the sets and teach him how to prepare it.
