Radhika Apte and Oscar-nominated star Dev Patel to star together in a film?

Bollywood actress Radhika Apte is a prolific actor; her acting skills and screen presence are praised by one and all. The actress has interesting movies in her kitty and has been signing movies of different genres.

She has PadMan up for release in which she essays the role of Akshay Kumar’s wife. She has also finished the shoot of Bazaar in which she stars with Saif Ali Khan. Radhika will be teaming up with Badlapur director Shriram Raghavan for his next movie. Apart from these, she has wrapped up a short movie with Anurag Kashyap.

Now, the actress has disclosed that she will be starring in a movie with Slumdog Millionaire actor Dev Patel. In an interview with a tabloid, the actress disclosed, “Yes, I'm doing a film with Dev which I will announce soon.”

La La Land’s grand win in Bafta Awards while Emma Stone and Dev Patel win big!

The Bafta Awards 2017 saw some of the brightest superstars in Hollywood to come together for an extraordinary night. 

La La Land emerged as the grand winner yet again with Best Film, Director and Best Actress in a Leading Role. Dev Patel won the Best Supporting actor for his amazing performance in Lion and Viola Davis won the Best Supporting Actress for her strong act in Fences. 

Casey Affleck won the Best Actor in a famous Role for Manchester by the Sea and Spiderman himself Tom Holland won the Rising Star Award.

Ex-lover Freida Pinto’s sweet message for Dev Patel on Oscar nomination!

International star Dev Patel is flying high after he got nominated for the very prestigious Oscar Awards, for the movie Lion. Dev was nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category and the young actor is excited about it. 

Dev released a statement telling, "Ok, so I just received a call to say that I've been nominated for an Academy Award. To be totally honest, the news hasn't made it's way into my brain yet, but I'm looking at these beautiful smiling faces around me... Faces of the ones I love. And I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. What makes this moment so much more poignant is that I've just wrapped shooting another film in India. This enthralling country holds such a deep place in my heart, and it is where Saroo's journey was born. This film would be nothing without Garth Davis. Without his love, commitment and vision this "Lion" wouldn't have been able to roar. To that extent I want to share this incredible feeling with Luke, Grieg, Jenny Kent, Iain, Angie, Emile, Sunny, Nicole, David, Rooney, Divian, Priyanka, the Brierley family as well as the Weinstein Co team. Lion reaffirms the message that love is not dictated by the color of your skin, not by race, gender, sexuality, social status, or origin. Dev's ex-girlfriend Freida took to Instagram to wish Dev on this success. She shared, "So proud of you, Dev! Dev Patel had a tough time playing mathematical genius S. Ramanujan due to his mathematical inabilities!

Dev Patel, who shot to fame with Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire, will be next seen playing the lead role in The Man Who Knew Infinity, a movie based on the life of mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan and though Patel is being praised for his performance in the movie, not many might know that Dev actually is bad at math!

Approving the same, Dev confessed that while shooting the movie, the makers had got a mathematician named Ken Ono on the sets to break down complex mathematical formulas for Dev. The actor further quipped that despite the help of Ono, he did not understand most of what was being explained to him and that there was a quite a lot of acting required so as to cover up his mathematical inabilities. For those who do not know this, Ken Ono is a Japanese-American mathematician who specializes in number theory, especially in integer partitions, modular forms, and the fields of interest similar to that of Srinivasa Ramanujan.

  

On his part, Ono tells, “I was involved because they wanted to get their mathematics right and before I knew it, I was on the sets in England, helping out with so many different things. It was of course difficult to explain how to be a mathematician to someone who is not a mathematician. My favourite scene in the film is the scene where Dev Patel, who plays Ramanujan, completes a complex mathematical formlua on the blackboard and one can see that he has done it in real time. My challenge was to select a formula that he could remember easily and complete it in the sequence.”
