Sara Ali Khan has a special place in her heart for Kedarnath, even though she frequently visits temples around India for spiritual reasons. Since then, the actress has returned multiple times to the sacred site where she took her very first photo. Upon a recent event, Sara reflected on her intimate relationship with Kedarnath, recalling that upon her initial visit, "she wasn't even herself." She disclosed that everything she has achieved thus far is a result of the transformative experience she had at that hallowed place.
Sara Ali Khan disclosed at a recent event, " I share the most special connection with that place. I think the first time I went to Kedarnath, I was not an actor, I was not even myself. I don’t know, but everything I am has come from that place. So, bas bulawa aata rahe, aur mai jaati rahu aur fir wapis aati rahu, aur kaam karti rahu, aur bas ye chalta rahe." (So, as long as the bulawa (call) keeps coming, I will keep going, returning, working, and continuing this cycle).
The actress regularly receives flak for her controversial
temple visits. Khan responded to the criticism in a previous interview with
Hindustan Times, stating that her acts are a question of personal preference.
The public frequently criticizes Sara's choices because she is the daughter of
Hindu Amrita Singh and Muslim Saif Ali Khan.
She also expressed her thoughts, saying that even if trolling has become a
popular pastime for many people, she would prefer to ignore it. She underlined
that the criticism will continue to be "background noise" as long as
her acting profession is valued.
In terms of her profession, Sara Ali Khan will star in Metro
In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu, opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. The cast also
includes Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
