This week's Saturday saw an attack in Bandra on Raveena Tandon. She became involved in controversy after the event that occurred right outside her home was caught on camera and went viral. The actress was trying to save her driver in the video when she pleaded with onlookers not to hit him. The actress was accused of assaulting three individuals.
However, Mumbai Police on Thursday issued a clean sheet to the actress and her
driver. After then, the actress addressed the incident on her Instagram
account. The actress now sent a long letter, one day later, condemning
"violence against women" once more.
A long time ago, on June 7, Raveena Tandon discussed the unfortunate Bandra attack occurrence in a lengthy post on her Instagram stories. She wrote, “In a world where public scrutiny is relentless, it is essential to remember that women achievers are human too. Disparaging them solely for their fame is unfair and harmful.”
She further penned, “This increasing violence against women and children world over needs to be addressed urgently. It’s time we stand united against violence and hooliganism.”
On Thursday night, Raveena released another story in reaction to the incident. She expressed her gratitude to her fans and backers for their steadfast support. She stated, “Thank you for the overwhelming love, belief and support! Moral of the story? Get dashcams and cctvs now!"
