Actress Freida Pinto who is presently expecting her first child with Cory Tran, recently confirmed on The Kelly Clarkson show that she clandestinely tied the knot with fiance Cory Tran amid COVID-19 lockdown. Pinto disclosed that she got married at Honda Center in Anaheim, California and even took an 'afternoon nap' after returning home from the wedding.

Furthermore, Freida told, "It’s a very romantic story if you must know. Of course, when we got engaged we thought we’d have this most magical wedding. I should clear the air. I wasn’t planning a big fat Indian wedding. It was just going to be something pretty and simple…But then COVID happened and it’s still happening and we just realized we were going to be planning this for the rest of our lives and probably never do it."

Recently, during a recent press meet of Dhamaka, Kartik Aaryan was questioned if he would like to collaborate with Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor for Pyaar Ka Punchnama 3.

While the first movie of the franchise was panned by critics as misogynist, the story of three boys just out of college making a fool of themselves in love was an instant hit and Rajjo’s (Kartik Aaryan) monologue towards the end remains one of the oft-quoted dialogues by men. Much like the first film, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 traced the love life of three men who are foolish enough to fall prey to three women (who may not be manipulative or scheming per se, but simply take advantage of them) and their whims and fancies. After delivering two hits at the box office. There is no doubt that fans would want the actor to come up with another film of the franchise.

Now, during the press meet when questioned if he will be willing to collaborate with Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 3, the Luka Chuppi star broke out in laughter. After composing himself, Kartik revealed the media person to ask the same question to the director of the film. However, in the end, the actor also added that Ranveer and Ranbir will make for a great cast of the film.

Saiyami Kher to romance with Junior Bachchan for R Balki’s cricket-based drama!

Bollywood star Abhishek Bachhcan and R Balki are teaming up for the first time on a cricket-based drama. The Guru star will play the role of a left-handed cricketer. As per latest media update, Saiyami Kher has come on board to play the female lead of this sports drama.

“Like Abhishek, even Saiyami will be seen playing the role of a cricketer in this film. The makers were on a lookout for someone who understands the sport of cricket and after several rounds of auditions, have finalized on Saiyami Kher". For those unaware. Saiyami is an avid sport lover and a master in cricket,” disclosed a media source close to the development.  The movie will go on floors sometime next year.

Saiyami made her acting debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya, and recently won acclaim for her performance in Choked. According to a source, both Abhishek and Saiyami will be seen as left-handed cricketers in this film, which is a fictional story set against the backdrop of cricket.

The actor shot for the movie amid the ongoing pandemic in a record time of 9 days and at the launch, Kartik talked about how lockdown helped him gain perspective. Kartik was one of the actors who did not work during the initial COVID 19 lockdown and now, he has 4-5 projects in the pipeline. Speaking about it, Kartik reflected on how lockdown helped him transform into a workaholic.

During the trailer, Kartik was questioned about his forthcoming slate of movies after the COVID 19 lockdown. Luka Chuppi star revealed, "I didn't work in lockdown. The entire year was wasted. But the lockdown gave me a perspective of certain things. It gave me the chance to think and try new things. I was doing 2 films from pre covid era, and then subsequent films are different from what I did so far." He further added that the pandemic made him a risk-taker. Kartik said, "With the ongoing pandemic, I have got this risk-taking ability and have got the urge to do different stories. There is a change in approach, and have got the risk-taking ability in the pandemic. I am a workaholic and now after the pause, life has hit the reset mode."

Furthermore, He revealed, "I want to do many more rom-coms but want to do some stories which are unique. It's becoming a great mixture because of such a thought process. There is an excitement to explore new characters and learn different things. In last 2 years, more scripts have come my and I have a little more to chose from."

As per latest media update, Ranbir shot for a special house party song for Luv Ranjan's untitled project at Madh Island. The report claimed that it was the first time since the COVID 19 curbs were eased out on film shoots that any crew shot with a huge number of background dancers. Reportedly, Ranbir shot for the big-budget house party song with 500 background dancers. The dance was seemingly choreographed by Bosco Martis. As per the report, Ranbir has wrapped up the filming of the house party song.

Recently, the Heropanti actress opened up about her next Hum Do Hamare Do. The movie which is a family comedy drama also stars veteran stars Ratna Pathak Shah and Paresh Rawal. When questioned about what draws her to small town dramas, Kriti revealed, "Hum Do Hamare Do is not a small-town film. It is based in Chandigarh which is not a small town. It takes me away from the small-town world to a slightly more urban duniya (sic)."

Explaining on her script choice, she revealed, "What drew me to the film was this one line where this guy was adopting his parents. I just felt like it was so different and unique. It talks about family, the fact that we don't get to choose our parents so what about this guy who actually ends up adopting parents for this girl. The chaos that ensues." 

She further revealed, "The angle of Paresh sir and Ratna ma'am and their love story at some point. I think it was a very interesting world. It's funny but the film has also got those warm moments and 'family waali feeling'."

After Bareilly Ki Barfi’s success, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao are reuniting for their new movie titled Hum Do Humare Do. The teaser of this film is out and it looks quite interesting. Along with Kriti and Rajkummar, we will also see Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah in key roles.

The teaser of Hum Do Humare Do starts with Kriti Sanon walking towards Rajkummar Rao and asking him to bring his parents home. Then we hear in the background that Rajkummar is going to adopt his parents. The role of the parents will be apparently played by Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah. Pritam and Rohit Dhawan’s reunion for Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada!

After the success of Luka Chuppi, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon are again reuniting for Rohit Dhawan’s next movie, the official remake of Telugu blockbuster, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. As per media media updates, the film has been titled Shehzada and the makers have locked Pritam as the music composer of this project.

“Pritam and Rohit have worked together on Desi Boyz and Dishoom. Both the music albums are immensely successful with the peppy songs making it to almost all parties even today. The duo is now back together on Shehzada to create an original music album. The film has ample scope for music and the team is already jamming with Pritam to create some foot tapping numbers,” disclosed a media source.

The much-awaited film goes on the floors from October 12 at Filmcity in Mumbai. “The makers have put up a massive set at the studio and are all geared up to commence work on the film within the next 10 days. While Kartik and Kriti play the leads, a massive ensemble has been put up for other key characters of this family driven action comedy,” the source informed. Shehzada features Paresh Rawal and Manisha Korila in key roles. “The talks are on with two more prominent actors,” the source further revealed.

As per media updates, the shoot of RAPO19 has been put to a halt as south superstar Ram Pothineni is hurt due to neck injury. While the reason of how the injury was not mentioned, Ram took to social media and shared a selfie with neck injury. Sharing a pic to inform his admirers about the injury and #RAPO19 shoot, Ram posted, "Take a break…or take The Break! #RAPO19 on."

The movie is seemingly based on a true case back in 2011 when a couple's children were taken by Norway welfare services as they were deemed incapable to raise a child.

Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Hate Story 3 fame Daisy Shah opened up on the travelling crisis that was imposed on the citizens after the pandemic hit India.

In a media chat, Daisy revealed that she is relieved upon seeing the relaxations provided to the citizens. But, when asked if she was scared to travel to an international destination amidst the travelling crisis, Daisy instantly waved off the question by denying it. She told, “Not really. I feel if anything is supposed to happen, ghar pe baith ke bhi ho sakta hai. If it is meant to happen, it will happen to you anywhere in the world. That does not mean you have to restrict yourself from living your life.”
