Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana had a successful 2018 with
movies like Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho. The critics and the viewers were in awe
of the movies, the story, and Ayushmann's act. Andhadhun was a dark comedy and
crime thriller, and Badhaai Ho was a total family entertainer.
In a media chat, Ayushmann was questioned whether there were
people in his life who didn't believe in his choices and how have things
changed for him. Ayushmann responded, "Nobody tells you that they don’t
believe in you. I had tremendous self-belief and faith in my sensibilities. I
always aspired to do something different. The cinema I endorse is a cross
between critical acclaim and commercial acclaim."
Ayushmann also said that the scripts he is choosing are
unique but normal and have no reference in the Indian Cinema. However, he is
glad that people have loved his choices and he feels quite overwhelmed.
Currently, the actor is busy with yet another quirky film
Dream Girl in which Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen as a Dream Girl. The film
also stars Nushrat Bharucha in the lead role.
