Well-known celeb couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli
celebrated their one-year anniversary on December 11, 2018. It's been a year of
wedded bliss for the content pair and questions of extending their family has
already gone widespread. The pregnancy rumours have spread like wildfire and
numerous have now anticipated that Anushka is expecting. Recently, in a media
chat, Anushka was questioned about the constant conjectures of being pregnant
and her reaction to the question of when she is expecting a baby.
Anushka sturdily condemned the question calling it
dakiyanusi (regressive) and felt as if a tauji is asking her that. Anushka
stressed how one should respect the other's privacy and that just because
someone is married, it does not mean that the next step is to go the family
way. "I got married at a young age for a reason. If you are having a baby,
it is something that no one can hide. You can still hide a marriage, but not
the fact that you are pregnant," Anushka revealed.
Anushka further added, "People can keep speculating
(about someone being pregnant), and then after four months when they realise
that these stories are false, they will feel silly and say, ‘Let’s go after the
other one who got married, let’s talk about her now’! This is done to generate
news. There is absolutely no truth to it and it’s not something that’s being
planned in the near future."
