Film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi has been making the
headlines ever since it hit the floors. Be it any controversy related to the
direction or the actors, the film managed to cause a stir throughout the film
industry. Recently, the trailer of the movie was launched in a grand event in
Mumbai. The whole star cast was present and also interacted with the media
about their upcoming release.
With Manikarnika, Kangana is stepping into the foray of
Direction and the film is her directorial debut. When she was questioned about
the same, Kangana said how happy directing made her. She went on to say that
Acting was like a job to her while Direction was her first true love. She revealed,
“There is nothing I love more than directing. There is something so amazing
about this job. Acting is more like a job. Directing is fun. This seems like my
first true love.”
Manikarnika also stars Atul Kulkarni, Jisshu Sengupta,
Ankita Lokhande and Suresh Oberoi in pivotal roles. Manikarnika is slated for
release on January 25, 2019.
