Filmmaker Karan Johar made his directorial debut with Kuch
Kuch Hota Hai in 1998, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. Karan
Johar has since then directed numerous super hit movies and has also pronounced
his next movie, Takht with Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi
Pednekar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
Karan is presently hosting Calling Karan’s second season on
Ishq FM. When questioned if he ever made the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s sequel, who
would he cast as the three lead characters in the movie, Karan revealed, “If I
made Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2, I would cast Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi
Kapoor in it.”
Karan Johar launched Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor in the
industry. He directed Alia in his directorial Student of the Year, whereas
Janhvi debuted this year with Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir
Kapoor are presently working in Karan Johar’s production venture, Brahmastra.
