Recently, Thugs of Hindostan’s makers introduced the viewers
to the five lead characters of the movie. Amitabh Bachchan’s character
Khudabaksh has been deemed as the Thug of the Thugs. Katrina Kaif reportedly
essays the role of a dancer in the movie. The motion poster of her character,
Suraiyya Jaan has been loved by the viewers. Fatima Sana Shaikh essays the role
of a fighter in the movie, Zafira. Another character that of John Clive has
also been introduced to the viewers. Lately, the makers shared a poster with
the four key characters together.
Aamir Khan’s character Firangi’s motion poster was disclosed
recently and Twitterati could not help but notice the resemblances with Captain
Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean series. Aamir has repudiated in a
media chat that the film is based on the Pirate series. But, twitterati
compared Aamir’s look to Johnny Depp’s. Aamir’s character Firangi has been
termed as ‘Desi Jack Sparrow’ by social media users. One user posted, “Meet our
very own Jack sparrow. Aamir Khan as Firangi." The movie is apparently
based on the book, Confessions of a Thug. Aamir Khan essays a shrewd and
cunning man in the movie who can go to any extent for money.
