There have been numerous conjectures making the rounds about
the sequel to the 2014 hit film Ek Villain featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha
Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead roles.
As per a news in a daily, producer Ekta Kapoor has hired a
few writers to start working on the sequel which is all set to be a follow-up
to Ek Villain. Furthermore, Sidharth will be seen in the lead role and there
will be a fresh cast joining him for the sequel.
Speaking about it, a source specified to a daily, "Work
on Ek Villain 2 has just kicked off. The premise of the original is great for a
potential franchise."
Ek Villain 2 will not be directed by Mohit Suri, but Ekta is
planning to rope in new director to the project.
