Akshay Kumar starrer Gold’s official trailer created buzz
due to its pride invoking thouhts for nation. High on national spirit, the promo
also stars Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh and Sunny
Kaushal. Gold marks the debut of TV Queen Mouni Roy into the movies.
Gold is the tale of the "golden era" of Indian
hockey via the prism of Tapan Das (played by Akshay) who dreams of playing for
an independent India. The dream was 12 years in making before it actually became
a reality in the year, 1948.
Gold is slated to release on August 15, 2018.
