There was a point I started believing that may be a married actress can’t score a hit, reveals Vidya Balan!

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan's Tumhari Sulu has received a lot of praise and love from the critics and the viewers. In the film, she essays the role of a married woman whose dreams are colourful and lively. She essays the role of an RJ in the movie.

Speaking about how she feels as the movie has received a positive response, Vidya revealed a tabloid, "There was a point I started believing that may be a married actress can’t score a hit. But the love Tumhari Sulu is getting has proved it wrong. The films, I did before this, were probably not successful in building connect with the audience. It is a personal movement of glory for me. The actor part of me is as precious to me as a married woman part of me."

She further spoke about failures from the past that has helped her now. Vidya revealed, "Success and failures are a part of life. Every day is not a Sunday. The only thing as an artiste I can do is keep moving forward, keep working hard and keep growing. The joy is in learning. Failures help me rise."


Vidya received the Star Screen Awards for Best Actress for her act in Tumhari Sulu.
