Partner 2 is in progress with Salman Khan and Govinda?

Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Govinda's repartee and companionship in David Dhawan's Partner is still loved by the fans. The film was one of the last movies where Govinda worked with both Salman and David.

People are waiting to see Salman and Govinda together on the big screen and there have been numerous reports making the rounds regarding the same. As per hearsays in a daily, Salman's brother and actor-filmmaker Sohail Khan is planning to make a sequel to Partner.

News have it, Sohail has registered two titles for the sequel and they are, Carry On Partner and Partner 2. A source spoke to a leading daily about the sequel, "The original film was well accepted. It revived Govinda’s career. Previous plans for creating the sequel were dropped after the makers felt the story lacked heft. Then, the actors were occupied with other assignments. There were also reports of a fall-out between Salman and Govinda. But that is a thing of the past now."

Moreover, the makers are also planning to cast two young actors to star alongside Salman and Govinda. The source further said, "Salman and Sohail wanted Govinda and Salman’s characters to be better crafted. Salman may reprise his role of a love guru."

Previously, there were reports about Salman and Govinda's fallout, but the latter repudiated all these reports about not working with each other. Govinda told, "Why will I not work with him?” he questions, adding, “We don’t have any issues with each other. My daughter, Narmada, works out in the gym with Sohail. She talks to me about him often."

When Sohail was about Partner's sequel, he told, "I'm not making the film right now."
