Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is all geared up for her upcoming
release Judwaa 2, for which she lately wrapped the London schedule. She will be
paired opposite Varun Dhawan for the first time.
Taapsee started her career in the South before venturing
into the world of Bollywood and now with movies like Pink and Naam Shabana, she
is surely making her mark in Bollywood. Taapsee is not the first actress from
the South who Varun has worked with. Earlier Varun has been paired opposite
actresses like Kriti Sanon (Dilwale) and Ileana D'Cruz (Main Tera Hero)
But who does he consider his favourite? Taapsee lately
shared a video of Varun's as her Instagram story. In the video, Taapsee questioned
Varun humorously how amazing she is in the movie to which VD replied, "I
think you're one of the best actresses' who's come from the South."
Looks like we have our reply. And how adorable do they both
look!?
In an interview with us, Taapsee spoke in detail about her
character in the film. She told, "They have revamped the girl’s character
[in the film]. My character is not on the lines of either Karisma or Rambha. I
play a college girl who studies with Varun Dhawan. I am an Indian girl born and
brought up in London."
She also told that her character is the feminist kind who
would be seen packing some punches and will be performing some stunts too.
Directed by David Dhawan, Judwaa 2 is a sequel to the 1997
cult comedy classic Judwaa which then starred Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and
Rambha. The movie also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and is slated to release on
September 29, 2017. Salman will be having a cameo in the movie and rumour has
it that Karisma will also be having a special appearance.
