International diva Priyanka Chopra has marked her presence
on a global level with her TV show Quantico as well as her Hollywood debut film,
Baywatch.
As per a famous UK-based entertainment magazine, Priyanka
wants to play a superhero. She disclosed, "My dream part is, now that I’m
working in America, I definitely want to do a superhero part. When I think of
American movies, they’ve had superheroes for aeons, right? So I definitely want
to play a superhero and I want to have an interesting superpower. I don’t know…
Batgirl would be so cool!"
Joss Whedon who is responsible for directing Marvel's The
Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, will be helming the Batgirl film. There
were rumours a while back that actress Lindsey Morgan may be in the running to play
the role of Batgirl.
In March, Lindsey had posted, "WELP. New project on the
horizon AND IM MORE THAN ECSTATIC about it!!!!
thank you, everyone, for your support & love." Subsequently,
she retweeted a report of Joss Whedon landing the project as well as a few
other stories suggesting that she be cast as Batgirl aka Barbara Gordon.
In the meantime, Priyanka is already in talks for two
Hollywood movies post-Baywatch. One is A Kid Like Jakestarring Jim Parsons,
Claire Danes and Octavia Spencer and the other is Isn't It Romantic starring
Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine and Liam Hemsworth.
