International diva Priyanka Chopra has
taken off from New York and she will be arriving in Mumbai tonight. The actress
is here only for four days and then will again head back to the US. When in
Mumbai, Priyanka is anticipated to sign her next Hindi film and will complete
few brand shoots as well.
As per a daily, Priyanka's next is most likely to be Sanjay
Leela Bhansali's movie on poetess Amrita Pritam. Conjectures around this movie
have been going on for quite some time now. Last when we had met Priyanka she
had said that though she can never say no to SLB, there is nothing official
about the movie. She had received some very interesting scripts and was to
decide her next film depending on her schedule.
A source close to the actress informed the daily, "In
all likelihood Priyanka's trip will culminate in the project being locked. An
official announcement, however, will be made only after the male lead is
cast."
Fascinatingly, for the male lead, names like Irrfan Khan, Shah
Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan have cropped up in the past. But that
is also not pronounced officially.
When Priyanka was questioned about the movie by the daily a
few days back, she had told, "When we meet, we inevitably discuss work. I
can never say no to him and will work with him whenever I get a chance. We are
yet to figure out our special next."
