Bollywood’s famous duo Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are unquestionably
the most talked about former Bollywood couples. In spite of their breakup, the
two seem to share a great rapport with each other.
Salman who was accompanied by Katrina and Alia Bhatt for the
IIFA 2017 press conference was all admirations for Katrina. It was hard to not
notice the palpable chemistry between the duo which is so unusual and rare.
From taking each other’s side to pulling each other’s leg,
the two seemed happy in each other’s company.
So it was no surprise when Salman broke into 'Happy Birthday
Katrina' song while interacting with media. For those uninformed, the IIFA
weekend will be held in New York from July 13-15, with the main awards ceremony
on the last day, which is a day prior to Katrina’s birthday i.e July 16. Joking
about it Salman had even said that the whole country will celebrate her
birthday, and it will be like called ‘Katrina Day’.
Given this, Salman during a media interaction currently was questioned
if he will be with Katrina to ring in her birthday since they will be together
in New York for IIFA. Replying to this, Salman joked, “Nothing. I hope she invites
me though,” while adding that it will all depend on how she performs on stage.
On the film front, Salman and Katrina will be reuniting
onscreen after 5 years for Tiger Zinda Hai. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the
movie is scheduled to release later this year.
In the meantime, Salman is gearing up for the release of his
upcoming movie Tubelight which is scheduled to release on June 23, 2017.
