After being away from films for over a year, now Abhishek
Bachchan is all set to be back in action with as good as six movies. The actor
is told to have green lighted some astonishing projects, the official pronouncements
of which will soon follow.
Fascinatingly, in three of his forthcoming movies, Abhishek essays
a character blessed with special traits and superpowers!
As per a famous tabloid, Abhishek Bachchan plays a man who
does everything left-handed in Prabhudheva's Lefty, he plays a man with bad
temper in Sanak which he has scripted too and now in Bachchan Singh the actor
plays a man who has superpowers. He is a paan-chewing corrupt cop, who suddenly
discovers that he can get anything he wants only by clapping his hands.
Director Priyadarshan confirmed the same to a famous tabloid.
He told, "We start shooting for the film from November this year. The film
has been written by Rumi Jaffrey and produced by Rajat Rawail. It’s a fantasy
fiction film, humorous, something along the lines of Mr India and The
Mask."
He adds, "Before the interval, Abhishek plays a corrupt
cop and then turns a saviour of sorts with powers. He has the power of clapping
to get what he wants but he realises it later. It’s my first masala film. While
we have tentatively called it Bachchan Singh, we may change the name
later."
"My Tamil film is a rural human drama dealing with
social issues and will start in June. After I complete that, we start Bachchan
Singh in November," ends converstion Priyadarshan.
