It took about four months for me to actually learn all my lines in Haryanvi, reveals Aamir Khan!

As we know that Aamir Khan always pushes his limits to get into the skin of his character. Be it about training strenuously for nine months straight for Ghajini or now about that mind-boggling transformation the 51-year-old would be seen in flaunting in Dangal, he is known as Mr. Perfectionist for an exclusive reason!

But, body transformation wasn’t the only challenge Aamir had in front of him while shooting for the biopic. The actor also struggled with learning Haryanvi.

Aamir Khan was recently present for Dangal promotions in Delhi and joked, “I found Haryanvi very difficult also because I was coming out of Bhojpuri. The film I did before this was PK in which I was speaking Bhojpuri… It took me a few months to navigate. I would constantly use Bhojpuri words suddenly in between. It took me a while to adapt to it. It took about four months for me to actually learn all my lines in Haryanvi."

He also disclosed that the team hasn’t used typical Haryanvi words and told, “What we have done which you all should know is we have not gone hundred percent strict on Haryanvi, because if you would go hundred percent strict on the Haryanvi then people in the rest of the country will not understand what you are saying. What we have done is we have diluted Haryanavi… But then we have been consistent…We have also kept the flavour of Haryanvi along with an understandability for those who are not from Haryana.”

The movie that also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh , Sanya Malhotra and Sakshi Tanwar will hit the cinemas on December 23.
