Disney is ready to turn another one of its classics into a
live-action money-spinner, with a new musical version of Snow White & The
Seven Dwarves in the works.
The movie will include new songs created by the
award-winning duo of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who are currently basking in
the success of their latest work La La Land. Disney’s new announcement comes
close on the heels of the box office successes of Cinderella and The Jungle
Book, and with Beasty & The Beast, The Lion King, Mulan and Aladdin also in
various stages of production, I for one don’t see the trend changing anytime
soon.
