Irrfan Khan signs the screen adaptation of A Case of Exploding Mangoes!

Irrfan Khan recently turned down a Steven Spielberg film because the role wasn’t meaty enough for him, but he’s filled up his diary with another Hollywood film.

The actor has signed the screen adaptation of A Case of Exploding Mangoes, which tells the story of the mysterious plane crash that killed the former Pakistan President Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. The feature version of Mohammed Hanif's satirical book will also star Feryna Wazheir, and I hope it’s as darkly amusing as the novel.
