Now that the lead pair of Half Girlfriend has been confirmed,
the makers of the film have also locked the release date. The Balaji film will
hit the screens on October 7, this year.
Directed by Mohit Suri, Half Girlfriend is an adaptation of
Chetan Bhagat's eponymous novel. Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor will play the
lead roles in the film. Arjun will play a Bihari lad in the film and is
currently undergoing training in basketball and Bihari accent to get into the
skin of his character.
While Shraddha has worked with Mohit in Ek Villain and
Aashiqui 2, this is Arjun's first project with the filmmaker.
