Priyanka Chopra, who marked her Hollywood debut with
American TV series Quantico, received the Favorite Actress in a New TV Series
Award, for her role in the ABC show, at the lately held People's Choice Awards
2016, thus becoming the first South Asian actress to win a People's Choice
Award.
Unnecessary to say all Indians are very proud of her global
victory and Akshay Kumar, who has worked with her in movies like Aitraaz,
Andaaz and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, tells that she deserves all the honors and
awards coming her way.
At a recent event, when asked to comment on Priyanka's
recent win at the People's Choice Awards, Akshay told, ''I think she deserves
it, she has done such a good job and she makes India proud.''
Priyanka has played the role of FBI agent Alex Parrish in
the crime-thriller.
