Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who is currently serving his
term in Pune's Yerawada Jail, is all set to walk out of prison on February 27
on grounds of good conduct.
The actor will be out almost a hundred days ahead of the
official end of his prison period. Sources tell that on Tuesday, the home department
approved the proposal of giving the actor benefits of remittance for his good
behavior. Seemingly, Dr. Ranjit Patil, the Minister of State Home, cleared the
proposal but, he hasn't given an official confirmation, yet.
The 56-year-old was sentenced to 42-months in jail by the
Supreme Court, in connection with his involvement in the 1993 Bombay bomb blast
case, in March 2013. Since then he has been out of jail on furlough and parole
for over 118 days and his frequent outings have been heavily criticized.
