Arjun Kapoor's heartbreak due to Shraddha Kapoor!

The new song from Half Girlfriend is released. Titled Tu Hi Hai, the song is posturized on the leads Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

In the music video, Shraddha dumps Arjun on a bad note and the latter is not able to accept the heartbreaking fact. His team loses a basketball match because of him. He stalks Shraddha and makes her talk to him but she ignores him totally.

The song is crooned and composed by Rahul Mishra and the lyrics are penned by Laado Suwalka.

The track is definitely heartbreaking and you will definitely feel for Madhav aka Arjun.

Arjun and Shraddha have been out-and-out promoting Half Girlfriend around the cities of the country. The movie is directed by Mohit Suri and is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name. The film is set to hit the screens this week on May 19, 2017.

Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor spend romantic moments in Thodi Der!

The filmmakers have unveiled yet another song from Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's Half Girlfriend, Thodi Der. Sung by Farhan Saeed and Shreya Ghoshal, the song is soothing to ears. Thodi Der is about two youngsters falling in love and wanting to spend as much time as they can and enjoy those moments. 

The song starts with Arjun expressing his dream to Shraddha that he wants a beautiful girl to sing a song for him and cut, you have her singing a song. Tu Thodi Der Aur Thehr Ja - the lyrics are penned by Kumaar and he does true justice to the song. 

If you are a music lover, then the whole song has a buffet of instruments - be it a piano, guitar riffs, acoustic guitar or keyboard. The best part is when Shraddha seals it with a kiss and Arjun is surprised and looks on. 

The song is a perfect fit for the people who have newly found love and always want to be next to each other. In the song, you could also see Arjun and Shraddha's chemistry which is just on point and they do make for an adorable duo. Arjun goes to every extent to spend time with his half-girlfriend Shraddha. 

Arjun Kapoor plays basketball like a pro and boy!

While Arjun Kapoor is hectic with the shooting of Anees Bazmee’s Mubarakan, but that hasn’t deterred the actor from promoting his forthcoming film Half Girlfriend.  

Lately, Arjun Kapoor took to Instagram to post, in what looks like a throwback picture, where the actor is seen prepping up for his role. The actor wrote, “Playing it up for my #HalfGirlfriend! #19thMay.” The Instagram picture has four different shots of the actor playing basketball like a pro and boy, he looks adorably cute in all the photos.

In Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend, Arjun Kapoor plays a national-level basketball player and as reported, the preparation for it was far from easy. In an interview to a famous daily, the director was quoted as telling, “It was important to get the nuances right and for the sport to look as authentic as possible on screen. In order to achieve that, Arjun was required to become a basketball player instead of just enacting the part.”

After going through rigorous training for months for which top NBA coaches were flown down from the US, looks like Arjun is all set to give the professional players a run for their money.

Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend is a forthcoming Indian romantic comedy based on the 2014 best-selling novel by the same name by writer Chetan Bhagat. Half Girlfriend is a tale about a boy who hails from a backward region of Bihar but wants an English-speaking upper class Delhi girl as his girlfriend. The film is scheduled to release on 19th May, 2017.

Shraddha-Arjun starrer 'Half Girlfriend' trailer to be out in end March / early April!

Renowned author Chetan Bhagat tells the trailer and songs of the movie "Half Girlfriend" which is based on his book with the same name will start rolling out from end of March.

"'Half Girlfriend' poster, trailer, songs will all start coming out around end March/ early April," Bhagat posted on his twitter account. 

Co-produced by Bhagat and directed by Mohit Suri, the movie stars Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. It has been locked for release on May 19.

Bhagat further added, "Absolutely extraordinary music in 'Half Girlfriend'. Best album in years hands down. Can't wait to share it all with you in a couple of weeks."

This is not the first time that Arjun who will be seen essaying the character of Madhav Jha in the film will be working in an adaptation. He has also starred in the film "2 States", an adaptation of Bhagat's book "2 States: The Story of My Marriage".

Arjun Kapoor and Mohit Suri open up about their so-called rift!

Arjun Kapoor's forthcoming release is Half Girlfriend which is being directed by Mohit Suri.

Rumors were widespread about a so-called rift between the two on the sets of the movie.

Both Arjun and Mohit have slammed the rumors. Arjun said a famous tabloid, "There is no issue between Mohit and me at all. I don’t care if people write about my personal life, but when people write rubbish about my professional life, I won’t keep quiet. When I was on an outdoors shoot and my grandmother was seriously unwell, there were reports about me throwing a party, drinking and giving the producer a Rs 1.5 lakh bill. I am a producer’s son and my father is one of the most amazing producers in Bollywood. If I was drinking, I should not have got this film. Obviously, somebody is jealous and upset and spreading these stories. Please don’t give it importance."

Mohit told, "Arjun and I talk to each other every day. In fact, we were to go together to Sidharth Malhotra’s birthday bash on Sunday, but I fell ill and couldn’t go. He was to come and see some rushes of Half Girlfriend and start dubbing for it, but he has been busy shooting nights and I have been busy completing the edit. He plans to see it once he gets free. Not just Arjun, I am on excellent terms with his family, too."

Based on Chetan Bhagat's book of the same name, Half Girlfriend is slated to release on May 19, 2017 and also stars Shraddha Kapoor. 

Arjun Kapoor nonsenses rumours of any rift with director Mohit Suri!

Bollywood stars Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will be teaming for the first time in Half Girlfriend. 

There were rumors stating a rift between Arjun and the director of the film Mohit Suri on the sets. 

Arjun slammed the rumour with a tweet which told, "When the magazine u trust not to indulge in nonsense does exactly that...well done".

This puts all the rumours to rest!

Romantic tale of Arjun and Shraddha Kapoor's in Half Girlfriend to release in April 2017!

Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will be seen opposite each other for the very first time in Half Girlfriend, which is based on Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name and we have some sensational news to share about the movie.

News has it that the movie, which will be directed by Mohit Suri, will go on floors in May this year and that it is expected to release on April 28 next year. The movie will revolve around a boy from Bihar, who cannot speak fluent English and his feelings for a girl from an upper-middle class Delhi family.

Remarkably, Arjun had also starred in 2 States, which was also based on Chetan Bhagat's book.

'Half Girlfriend' makes Arjun Kapoor nostalgic about his teenage years!

We had informed previously that Arjun Kapoor, who has bagged the lead role in Mohit Suri's Half Girlfriend, has started to train in basket-ball as his character Madhav is a champ at the sport.

We lately learned that as a teenager, Arjun himself used to play the sport and was also quite good at it, though he had not played for a while. In order to prepare for the role, Arjun has started playing basket-ball with his pals at a club in Mumbai and reportedly, Arjun got quite nostalgic about his teenage years, when he used to play with his friends.

Apart from basket-ball, Arjun is also learning the Bihari diction and accent. Half Girlfriend, which is based on Chetan Bhagat's novel, also stars Shraddha Kapoor.

The release date of Shraddha, Arjun starrer 'Half Girlfriend' has fixed!

Now that the lead pair of Half Girlfriend has been confirmed, the makers of the film have also locked the release date. The Balaji film will hit the screens on October 7, this year.

Directed by Mohit Suri, Half Girlfriend is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's eponymous novel. Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor will play the lead roles in the film. Arjun will play a Bihari lad in the film and is currently undergoing training in basketball and Bihari accent to get into the skin of his character.

While Shraddha has worked with Mohit in Ek Villain and Aashiqui 2, this is Arjun's first project with the filmmaker.
