Film Fukrey 3 to hit the floors by 2021 end!


After the stunning success of Fukrey and Fukrey Returns, admirers have been keenly waiting for the third installment of the franchise. Amid all this, director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba has revealed about Fukrey 3 and confirmed that the movie is in works.

While talking to a daily, Mrighdeep specified that while they had plans to begin rolling Fukrey 3 in April this year, it got delayed due to COVID 19 lockdown. However, he did mention that the movie will hit the floors by the end of 2021. “We were supposed to take it on floors on April 15, but the lockdown [disrupted our plan]. Now, we will begin shooting by the year-end. We want things to settle down; people should feel safe and mentally ready before going on the set,” he further added.

Film Roohi director also clarified that the pandemic has been refraining him from giving a go ahead for the movie. He revealed, “We don’t know what will hit us next. I don’t want to start [the project] and then stop midway. I’d rather start and finish in one go”. Well, while the admirers are eagerly waiting for Fukrey 3, it will be interesting to see what new twists the makers will bring in the third film.

Bollywood stars Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Sharma are hectic due to promotional activities of their upcoming release Arjun Patiala. Helmed by Rohit Jugraj and co-produced by Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan under T-Series and Maddock Films, it is a romantic cop spoof comedy film, scheduled to release on 26 July.

Recently, Kriti took to her social media handle to share behind the scene photographs of Varun, Diljit and herself, highlighting their different fun moods. The caption reads: “Many moods of our trio!”

Well-known Punjabi Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and bubbly actress Kriti Sanon will be uniting for the first time in the much-anticipated comedy movie 'Arjun Patiala'. The movie also stars Varun Sharma.

After a hilarious promo video, now, the makers have disclosed the first three posters featuring Kriti, Diljit and Varun. Film Arjun Patiala will hit the theatres on July 26 and the trailer will be out on June 20.

Diljit Dosanjh will be seen as a man named Arjun, who is a fitness freak. Kriti Sanon aka Ritu is a smart and clever girl. While, Varun will play the role of a boy named Onida who is full of drama.

The man who is best known for playing Choocha in Fukrey is all set to reprise the role in the Mrigdeep Singh Lamba sequel that rolls soon. That aside, he’s also bagged a key role in Dinesh Vijan’s directorial debut Raabta, where he’ll reunite with his Dilwale co-star Kriti Sanon. At this point all I can tell you is Varun will play Sushant Singh Rajput's buddy and a quirky third wheel to the movie’s central love story. Yup, Choocha’s career is definitely gaining momentum.
