Sony TV’s Peshwa Bajirao has lastly found his Mastani. The
makers have roped in Megha Chakraborty to essay the role of Mastani. Megha has
acted in popular Bengali shows like Joto Hashi Tato Ranna and was lately seen
as Reeti Biyani on the show Badii Devrani on & TV. She was the female lead
of the show. Megha was initially rejected for her western looks, but she astonished
everybody. She was dressed in a traditional Marwari dress to impress the makers
and she got selected for the lead role. The show gave her the big break to
Hindi Television industry. After that, she hasn’t looked back.
After the leap, which is said to take place next week, she
will essay Mastani on Peshwa Bajirao. Karan Suchak will be playing the grown up
Peshwa Bajirao, Rajeshwari Sachdev will be essaying Radhabai and Ishita
Gangopadhyay will be playing the role of grown up Kashibai. The makers of the
show auditioned a lot of famous faces for the role of Mastani but finalized on
Megha for her freshness and innocence.
Megha will have to undergo training for learning fierce
sword-fighting. Through this show, she will strive to prove everybody that she
can dawn any role and can look beautiful in traditional wear as well. It will
be quite challenging for her to win the hearts of the audiences as Deepika
Padukone has set really high standards in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao
Mastani.
TV star Disha Parmar who is presently seen in Woh... Apna Sa
is personally going through a stressed period. The actress' father who was seriously
ill, lately passed away in Delhi. Having
suffered the greatest loss of her life, the actress was naturally broken. But,
not one to let responsibilities suffer in the face of hardship, Disha resumed
shooting just 4 days after her father’s demise.
Apart from being greatly gifted, the actress is also very
passionate about her work and believes being immersed in work is the biggest
healer and helps her cope with her loss better. She says, “There’s probably no
loss bigger than losing one’s own father. But, my family and I seek comfort in
knowing that he’s in a better place today, feeling no pain. He meant the world
to me and it is his principles that I live by when I resume shooting barely 4
days after he’s left us. He always taught us to place one’s responsibilities
above everything else. He imbibed the importance of fulfilling one’s duties
before tending to one’s emotions or problems. And its true, it is helping me
cope with his loss better!”
Disha’s co-star in the show - Ssudeep Sahir told, “Our
prayers are with Disha’s father. Hope his soul rests in peace. It is Disha’s
thorough professionalism and maturity as an artiste that has brought her back
to the sets so soon after such a monumental loss. Anyone else in her place
would have taken their time before resuming shoot. But Disha, aware of how
difficult it would be for the production team to carry on without her, has
placed the show above her loss. Kudos to her for that! We have always known
Disha for her impeccable work ethic and with this gesture, she’s proven yet
again why we love her so much!”
The complete cast and crew of Woh… Apna Sa is a close-knit
family not just on screen but even off screen. So the crew rallied around to
ensure that Disha was least inconvenienced in her hour of distress. May Disha’s
father’s soul rest in peace!
It's just a few more weeks to the grand finale of the famous
dance reality show Nach Baliye 8. While the couples are gearing to up their
game and give in their best shot, the viewers are all thrilled to see their
favourite couple win. But lately, the gossip that raised our eyebrows was how
Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal, who are one of the most popular couples on
Indian television and also on Nach Baliye, were maybe getting safe zoned by the
home channel of the show. It was further rumoured of how the couple was getting
preferred over other couples and were given a lot of takes to perform their
final act even after rehearsals. Seemingly, they are getting leeway and were
supported by the channel.
But Monaya who seemed to be hurt by these rumours, took to
Instagram lately to explain. Sanaya looked very upset and told how her friend
disclosed to her about the rumours. She clarified telling that it is a reality
show and none can cheat or fool anyone. They have been putting in countless
efforts to perform their best and that such rumours affect them. Mohit too
looked evidently upset. Going ahead, she has also requested fans not to stoop
down to anybody's level and rather than fighting on social media, it's better
to vote for whomsoever they feel like.
Previously, a source informed us, "Sanaya and Mohit
have been getting a 30 score but Terence has been carefully scrutinising their
performance and his comments that are against them are not completely
telecasted by the channel since they do not want to affect their viewership by
losing out on the fans of MoNaya. So especially Terence's comments on Monaya's
performance are rather rigged in a smart way to safe side Monaya, and it is
making Terence infuriated."
"Terence is completely unhappy with the fact and
behaviour of the channel. In fact, he had also called Mohit to be a poor dancer,"
informed the source. Rather filing the story without cross checking, we
believed in getting the fact right from the horse's mouth itself. We had got in
touch with Terence who laughed on hearing the gossip revolving around him. The
choreographer who does not believe in mincing words and prefers calling spade a
spade, spoke his heart out before it turned out to be an unwanted controversy.”
"How do guys learn about everything," told Terence
laughingly. Rather than sticking to the typical 'no comments' line, he went on
record to accept a few things. "No No it's not happened the way you guys
have been informed. I have been strict with everybody, not just Sanaya and
Mohit. I am very particular about the technical aspects. After every performance,
I am very detailed about telling every couple of how they have performed and
how they have to improve and where. But my comments are very detailed and not
precise. Of course, the channel does not have that much screen time to telecast
everything that I say. They have to alter my comments. It's not just here but
every show that I judge, I have a lot to say and the channel cannot only give
me all the screen time. It will be unfair to the other judges too."
Well, these aren't just the rumours for Monaya alone, even
Divyanka-Vivek, Sanam-Abigail have faced such unsubstantiated rumours against
them.
COLORS’ newest offering Bhaag Bakool Bhaag has been
entertaining audiences since the show began.
The show showcases Gujarati boy Bakool's (Jay Soni) plight
upon being wedded to two women. Shuffling between the traditional Jigna (Shruti
Rawat) and a modern Sheena (Hiba Nawab), in the coming week, viewers will see
the conflicted husband take extreme measures to keep his two lives separate.
What’s more - to achieve that, Bakool will now be seen wearing a saree!
Bakool’s continuous attempts at keeping Sheena away
from him has been raising doubts in Sheena’s father Ranjeet's (Naveen Bawa)
mind about Bakool's commitment towards the wedding. In fact, Ranjeet has also
been raising eyebrows at Bakool's close equation with his best friend and
confidante Harry (Hardik Sangani). Ranjeet finally decides to get to the bottom
of the situation and organizes a dinner inviting Harry and Jigna, who Ranjeet
believes is his wife. As fate would have it, Jigna doesn’t show up for the
dinner and Bakool is compelled to wear a saree and disguise himself as Harry’s
wife. While Bakool tries his best to conceal his identity by pulling a pallu
over his head throughout, Ranjeet gets suspicious and tries to find out why
Jigna is hiding her face.

tenterhooks to see their beloved lovebirds reunite after destiny did them
apart.
Following the last big twist in the show where Abhi lost his
memory and had no recollection of being wedded to Pragya, viewers felt strongly
for the leading lady who had to put her feelings on hold and return to her
mother’s home. With Alia-Tanu constantly conspiring to separate the lovers,
audiences have been eagerly waiting to see their schemes fail and Abhi-Pragya
back together again. So all you ardent fans of Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya, it is

where Abhi and Pragya will confess their love for each other and get married on
23rd June 2017. Speaking about the upcoming track, lead actors Sriti Jha and
Shabbir Ahluwalia tell, “It’s a very major twist in the story that we’re headed
into.
In conclusion, the wedding day has arrived in Abhi-Pragya’s
life when they will admit their love for each other and get married in a
jungle. They have some goons in hot pursuit chasing to kill them. Hope viewers
will enjoy this romantic wedding in a jungle setting and we are sure that
they’ve not seen anything like this on Indian television!” In the current
track, Abhi and Pragya have managed to run from the jungle, leaving the goons
behind and on their way, they meet an old man named Raghuveer. Raghuveer takes
both of them to his house but unfortunately the goons too reach this place
where Abhi and Pragya have sought refuge.
TV reality show Nach Baliye 8 has been giving audiences countless
number of reasons to stay hooked onto the show now and then. Right from the
iconic jodis on TV to their romance, the show captures everything. One of the
most famous jodis of television, Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya have had
their share of toughs and easy acts.

their performance and are also promoting themselves to win the NB trophy. Divyanka
and Vivek's friends from the industry too are promoting them. Ankita Bhargava
who is Divyanka's good pal to has lend out her hand to support them and has
appealed to her admirers to vote out for them. Divyanka who was happy seeing
this instantly took to Twitter and requested her and Karan to participate in

do it next year! It binds you to another level!. Ankita retweeted, "I'm
sure u guys already are but lots more love and support is needed now... Plz
vote for #divek… I'm sure DT, I really would love to! It is a must do journey
together! Shud be the 'Aathwaan Vachan' during pheras@TheKaranPatel Suna jaan?”
Divyanka-Vivek are one of the hottest couples of Television.
The two who are leaving no stone unturned in practicing for Nach Baliye's grand
finale, are also making sure to make the most of their time left as a finalist.
TV star Ankita Lokhande is unquestionably one of the cutest
faces of the Indian Television.
The actress knows how to live the smallest of moments. Be it
with her family, her loveable pets or even with a stray canine, Ankita knows to
be happy. Lately, the actress was seen playing around with a cute little
dog. Captioned as, "Please meet coco my new friend scotch are u
jealous baby#dog.", we couldn't help but notice Ankita, who was looking
adorable like never before.
In a Bollywood where there are over countless number Karans,
Manishs, Ankitas and many more, not goofing up with names and surnames is purely
strange.
This was proved by the elegant host Manish Paul. He lately
shared an old video of Koffee with Karan featuring Priyanka Chopra and Deepika
Padukone seated on the couch. During the rapid fire session, Karan questioned
them to name the director of Band Bajaa Baraat. To this, instantly Deepika
replied Manish Sharma whereas Priyanka seemed to have goofed up. She replied
Manish Paul, a post which the three had a good laugh. Manish posted this
video on Instagram and captioned it as, "Hahahahahahhaa someone sent dis
to me.....#mp#koffeewithkaran #pc #priyankachopra#deepika #masti #fun #."
TV world’s beautiful couple Suyyash Rai and Kishwer
Merchantt have finally tied the knot after dating for numerous years. Their marriage

beautiful feeling. Since we have known each other for long, there haven’t been
many changes in our relationship but it has just evolved and become all the
more special.”

was super fun. All our friends got together and made the day really special for
us. As the bride and groom, we had a blast in our marriage, which very few
people get to do.”

different emotions. You cannot compare them. But we do need to settle down one

Model cum TV actress Gauahar Khan and Delhi-based singer
turned actor Rupin Pahwa were linked together when the two were
spotted at Coldplay's concert and when they Instagrammed pics of each other
hanging out with their friends at Gauahar's house.
Slamming the rumours, Gauahar termed the link-up as totally
"baseless" and told to a famous tabloid, "It's a joke... Can't a
girl and boy be friends? Boyfriend-girlfriend is not the only relationship in
the world. Gossip bloggers need to get a life. Rupin is just a
friend, we are not dating."
Rupin further specified to the tabloid, "They
linked us because we went to a concert together? Can't friends be spotted
together at a concert? She is my senior and a good friend. I am focusing on my
career and looking forward to newer beginnings in my life."
TV show Indian Idol 9 began with a bang when the judges
of season one - Anu Malik, Farah Khan and Sonu Nigam teamed up once more. In
the first week itself, we saw a big astonishment when one of the singers from
the Telugu version of the work of genius Baahubali auditioned for the
show.
Named LV Revanth Kumar, the gifted singer has sung more than
200 songs in Tollywood and wants to make it big in Bollywood too. He auditioned
for the show so that the Indian Idol platform will help venture into
the world of Bollywood. During the first round itself, Revanth mesmerized the
judges and won the ticket to Mumbai.
Now, we have reports that state, the Manohari singer
has made it to the Top 12 contestants of the singing reality show. Speaking

hearts and wants to win the competition."
TV world’s Sky Walker aka Akashdeep Saigal, who was on a
sabbatical from acting for about four years is all set to make a comeback on TV
world.
As per a famous tabloid, the actor will be seen in a
negative role in the historical show, Sher-E-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh,
where he will essay the role of Pir Muhammad. When he was questioned about what
took him so long to make a comeback, Sky specified, "I lost my mother. I
was extremely attached to her and after her death, I lost interest in
everything. It took me a while to bounce back, but when I returned, I took up
projects down South. I have always been passionate about everything I do. Now
that I am back, I will give more than 100 percent to acting. I am more evolved,
grateful and serious about my craft."
During his stint in Bigg Boss, the actor got well-known
for his anger issues and temperamental avatar. He was further questioned
whether he has evolved from it and Akashdeep Saigal told, "Such shows tend
to create drama inside the house because fights sell. People like voyeurism.
There are lovely moments as well, but one can pack only so much in an hour's
telecast. The makers create an image for every contestant and show footages
matching that. Having said that, I could have done better."
Furthermore, he even accused the host of BB, Salman
Khan for damaging his career. Speaking about the controversy, Sky told,
"That's a thing of the past. I wish him all the best. People make
mistakes. Time changes everything."
On his personal life, Sky was dating Pooja Bedi after their
stint in Bigg Boss but broke up after two years of their
relationship. Speaking about Pooja, he told, "She is a wonderful person;
in fact, there were times when I would wonder if that was for real. She is the
best person I have known. We were two strong personalities and hence, clashes
were bound to happen. I may be single, but every man requires feminine energy
to bring balance to life. My perception towards women has changed after my mom's
death."
TV’s musical show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs is a
platform where our young singers showcase their talent. The makers have roped
in both Himesh Reshammiya and Neha Kakkar to judge Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs.
Himesh has been linked to the show for relatively a long time now.
On this issue, he revealed a famous tabloid, “I’ve had a
long association with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and for me it’s like coming back to my
home ground, my family. The kind of talent that we get on this show is
extraordinary, as the creative team ensures that they get only the best from
the country.”
Neha, who is judging a show for the first time included, “I
started with being a contestant of a reality show and now I’m judging one. When
I was offered a chance to judge this show, I instantly took it up. I have
followed the previous seasons of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs religiously and I’m
well aware of the calibre that makes the cut.”
