Nushrat Bharucha clears the air about her green pelvage dress controversy!

Bollywood actress Nushrat Bharucha wore a fashionable pelvage dress on the red carpet at the 65th Filmfare Awards, an ensemble that had a slit higher than usual thigh-high. While numerous hailed the actress for her notable attire, others trolled it labeling it as a bit too much. But, the Nushrat maintains the grace that she carried the outfit with and has the apt response to silence the trolls.

There's freedom of speech in the country, so whatever one feels can put it out there, she told a media source. But just like the fact that they can express their opinion, she has the right to wear what she wants, Nushrat further added. For Nushrat, fashion is an extension of what she wants to express. In that eye-catching outfit, she felt confident and beautiful and according to her, she expressed the same. Nushrat also revealed that if the dress didn't fit well or not fall perfectly, she wouldn't be wearing it.

Karan Johar to make The Other!

Filmmaker Karan Johar has directed segments of anthology movies, and now he’s producing one too!

The A-lister has collaborated with a streaming giant for a collection of four shorts that’s been titled The Other, in which each film will try to shed the light on the complexities of relationships. KJo hasn’t said which directors he’s hiring for The Other, but I can reveal he’s already cast Fatima Sana Shaikh, Nushrat Bharucha, Shefali Shah, Manav Kaul and Jaideep Ahlawat to act in it. Salman Khan to give chance an assistant director for Nushrat Bharucha starrer next!

It’s common knowledge that Salman Khan is producing a new rom-com that’ll star Nushrat Bharucha in the lead.

While there’s no word on whether Bhaijaan will also star in the film, I can reveal that he’s hired Rohit Nayyar to direct the small-town set story that revolves around a wedding. Rohit’s association with Salu goes back a long way to when he was an assistant director on 2000’s Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, and the superstar thinks he’s the right man to take charge of the project. Time will tell if he’s right.

Love, Sex Aur Dokha’s pair reunite for Hansal Mehta’s Turram Khan!

Rajkummar Rao starrrer Stree has received good response at the box office. Now, Rajkummar has been roped in for Hansal Mehta’s Turram Khan and is reuniting with his Love, Sex Aur Dokha co-actor Nushrat Bharucha. As per report in a daily, the movie is produced by Ajay Devgn and is directed by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg.

It’s a social comedy set in a small town of Uttar Pradesh. It is scheduled to go on floors by November 2018. Hansal Mehta revealed, “I am delighted to be collaborating with Luv on this comedy. It is a new chapter in my filmography with Raj (Rajkummar), whose success I see as a vindication of my belief in him. It is also wonderful to be working with Nushrat, whose work I’ve followed and liked immensely in the past. This is my first out-and-out comedy and it is like making my debut all over again.”

Rajkummar further added, “Turram Khan is a comedy that the audience will take back home. Hansal sir has played an instrumental role in my career. He has created some interesting and memorable characters for me, and I trust him blindly. Also, I have known Nushrat since our days of attending auditions and screen tests. So, I am sure that this is going to be a fun collaboration.”

Nushrat is also pleased to be a part of the movie and told, “I love Hansal sir’s cinema and I’m looking forward to playing this earthy character from UP. The audience will see me in a different light. Over the years, Raj’s journey as an actor has been an inspiring one. He and Hansal sir share great camaraderie and I am excited to work with them."

Luv Ranjan's next with Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’s star cast!

After the success of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, director Luv Ranjan is planning to come up with yet another project with the actors of his last release and he has joined hands with T-Series.

Bhushan Kumar and Luv have work together to produce multiple movies and the first movie under this association will be a new age love triangle starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh. Set in Uttar Pradesh, the movie is slated to go on floors this month. This movie will also be Kartik, Nushrat and Luv's fourth project together.

Speaking about his partnership with Bhushan, Luv told, "When Bhushan approached me after PKP 2 what was exciting was his belief in my kind of films. Given Bhushan's excellent sense of music and unmatched marketing muscle, I couldn't have asked for a better association.”

Bhushan further added, "Luv understands the pulse of the youth and has a knack for making highly relatable and entertaining films. We are committed to making content driven films of all kinds and are proud to be jointly producing films with LUV Films."

Produced by T-Series and LUV Films, the rom-com is slated to release in August 2017.
