Parineeti Chopra finds friends for life on the sets of Golmaal Again!

Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra, who joined the "Golmaal" team for the fourth installment of the hit franchise, says that friends for life is what she has taken away from "Golmaal Again".

Parineeti and the "Golmaal" team got together for a conversation at the Jio MAMI Movie Mela here on Saturday.

Questioned about her experience as the new group member, Parineeti revealed, "First, I was completely star-struck by these guys. There was this bond between them and they understood each other. They knew exactly what to do. On the other hand, I thought that I might just mess this up. I didn't know what to do. But within 10 minutes, I felt welcome and these people are so mad that I realized why I was cast for this film... because I am like them. I really found friends for life and that is my biggest takeaway from the film."

Parineeti reveals she always thought comedy was an easier genre, but she was proven wrong after working on "Golmaal Again", directed by Rohit Shetty.

"When I used to watch these films, I used to feel comedy is easier. They are just doing comedy, it's just making people laugh. And dramatic scenes are so much tougher to do. But after 'Golmaal', now as an actor, I feel those dramatic scenes are easier. But to do this kind of comedy and this kind of film, to speak in a language that keeps the whole country (entertained) is very tough. Now I have realized that as cliched as it sounds, but comedy is a serious business.", she added later.

Parineeti was last seen on screen in "Meri Pyari Bindu" with Ayushmann Khurrana.

Golmaal Again’s posters promises a scary-laughter film with huge star cast!

Director Rohit Shetty is all set to tickle our funny bones with the fourth instalment of the Golmaal franchise, titled Golmaal Again. The trailer of the film starring Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Tabu, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu will be releasing tomorrow.

Before the trailer releases, Ajay posted a new poster for the film and we couldn’t be more thrilled. The poster also gives us a hint of what the fourth instalment might have for us, seems like there will be a ghost angle here. At least, that is the only explanation for the appearance of ‘nimbu-mirchi’ in the poster and those scary expressions.

Actresses Parineeti and Tabu are the new additions to the team.

Talking of being a part of the movie, Parineeti had previously revealed a famous tabloid that she is looking forward to doing some good work. She had told, “It is amazing to be a part of a film like this. It's a legacy (to take forward). Golmaal is a legendary series and Kareena has done two of them and now I am doing it. I hope I can do a good job."

She further added, "We are having loads of fun shooting Golmaal Again. It is the best set I have ever been on. Rohit and his entire Golmaal gang are just mad. The film is big, so I am having a fun time with the entire team which has become like a family." 

The union of best buddies on the sets of Golmaal Again!

Director Rohit Shetty is presently shooting for the fourth part of his Golmaal franchise in Mumbai's Yash Raj Studios with Ajay Devgn and the entire cast. Every day, the team of Golmaal Again is sharing few peeps of them from the sets, leaving the fans excited.

Yesterday, the team of Golmaal Again had a surprise visitor in the form of Sanjay Dutt. Baba, as he is lovingly called, was shooting in Agra for his comeback movie and has lately returned to Mumbai. When he learnt about Rohit and Ajay shooting in YRF, he made it a point to catch up with them.

Ajay Devgn posted a picture of Sanjay Dutt posing with the entire team of Golmaal Again with a tweet that read, "The original rockstar @duttsanjay."

                                                                                                          

Sanjay Dutt has worked with Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty in their 2009 hit All The Best. The movie also starred Bipasha Basu, Fardeen Khan and Mugdha Godse in the lead and performed very well at the box office. Not only in terms of films, but Sanjay has shared great rapport with both Rohit and Ajay in real life too. Baba has been a close friend of Shetty and the filmmaker has never had doubts in expressing about their equation.

           

In an interview during the release of Chennai Express, when Rohit Shetty was asked about his friends from the industry, the filmmaker had said, "I know Ajay (Devgn) is one guy who will stand by me whenever I need him. Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) is another. I love them. I know Ajay (Devgn) since the last 26 years."

Film Golmaal Again also stars Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and Shreyas Talpade in the lead. The movie is all set to release sometime in October this year.

Parineeti Chopra’s ‘YES’ for Ajay Devgn starrer Golmaal Again!

After Shraddha Kapoor rejected being part of Golmaal 4, the film has been offered to Parineeti Chopra who has been almost finalized for the role. 

Speaking about it, a source disclosed to a famous tabloid, telling, "The role required a pretty, bubbly girl. She plays a character, who is not seen by anybody except Ajay Devgn’s character and is his partner in crime. It’s an interesting, quirky role and Parineeti loved it. Rohit was doubtful between Shraddha and Pari and met both the actresses for a narration. Shraddha told she would get back soon, while Pari told yes without qualms. She loves the brand and wanted to be part of a Rohit Shetty entertainer. It was this positive attitude that Rohit liked and so, he signed her immediately."

This will be the third movie by Parineeti after Meri Pyaari Bindu and Takadum in the year 2017. Titled Golmaal Again, the movie is scripted by Sajid-Farhad, director of Housefull 3. Reports have it, that Parineeti has been asked to stay tightlipped about the movie as the director Rohit Shetty wants to announce it in a splendid style. The source added, "It includes a special photo session. Now that Shivaay has released, he will announce the entire cast."

The movie is set to go on floors next year.
