Abhishek Bachchan is OK with harsh comments for his performances!

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan took a short break from movies after the release of Housefull 3 in 2016. Abhishek focused on his business ventures for the last two years and is now back with his ‘comeback’ of sorts, Manmarziyaan. Abhishek plays the role of a banker in the movie. The team has been promoting the movie across the country through Manmarziyaan concerts.

In a media chat, Abhishek spoke about his break from films and revealed, “I felt I was becoming complacent in my workspace and that was the main reason why I decided to go on a break. Complacency is like slow poison. That is why I needed some time off. To just re-focus and I am glad that I did that.” He added, “It is everybody's personal journey. I won't say every artist needs that break. It depends on person to person. Whatever you need at that point. I believe it is important to be relevant and relatable rather than being seen on-screen and in every second project.”

Abhishek also said that he is okay with receiving harsh comments as feedback if his performance in the movie is not good as the audience pays for tickets with their hard earned money. He revealed, “My quest is to entertain my audience and on that journey, we get to play so many different characters. It is about being as entertaining as possible. I am okay with the audience and the critics expecting from me. I am okay with getting harsh comments if they don't like my performance. They are spending money to watch my films and they have every right to be harsh. I have no problems with them being direct to me.”

Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu’s romantic union in Kashmir!

Earlier, it was reported that Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in the film Manmarziyan. The film was earlier offered to popular Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan.

The shooting of the film will begin in Kashmir in February 2018 where they will shoot the first schedule. Abhishek Bachchan and the cast and crew of the film will be going to Kashmir in January 2018 and will begin the preparations. As the makers want to capture the snowfall, the first schedule of the film will be shot in the beautiful place.

In the film, Junior B will be romancing actress Taapsee Pannu. For the film, Abhishek and Taapsee will be shooting a romantic scene in the snowfall in Kashmir.

As reported by a leading tabloid, a source stated, "There's a snowfall sequence that needs to be shot. Some portions will also be shot in Delhi."

The project Manmarziyan has been going on for a long time. The initial cast of the film included Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead and was being helmed by Sameer Arya. Later on, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari was made the director of the film. Post her exit, the film will now be an Anurag Kashyap directorial and will be produced by Aanand L. Rai.

The source also said, "Abhishek has signed on the dotted line. Once Anurag is done with Sacred Games, he will start filming Manmariyan."

Along with Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, the film also stars Vicky Kausal in a vital role.

Manmarziyan gets makeover!

Aanand L Rai’s much-delayed project Manmarziyan is getting a full overhaul.

The romantic drama started out with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead and Sameer Sharma as director, before Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari replaced Sameer. Now I can confirm that Anurag Kashyap has taken over the reins from Ashwiny, and he’s swapped Ayushmann and Bhumi for Dangal’s Sanya Malhotra and the newbie Jassie Gill. Manmarziyan 2.0 rolls in Punjab this December, and I hope things go smoothly this time around!

Now Sanya Malhotra’s Manmarziyan!

Film Dangal actresses Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra created a storm on the big screen when they essayed the role of wrestlers. Post that, people were waiting to see more of them in the movies and were elated to know that Fatima is a part of Thugs of Hindostan alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif.

There were numerous reports of Sanya being approached for Anurag Kashyap and Aanand L. Rai's collaboration titled Manmarziyan. Previously, when we questioned her about the same, she told that she hasn't signed the movie yet.

Now, a source disclosed to a famous tabloid that Sanya is finally doing the movie alongside debutant Jassie Gill. The initial leads of the movie were Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar, but the project got postponed.

Now, Anurag has signed her and he will not only produce the movie but also direct it. The movie is set to go on floors this year in the month of December and will be extensively shot in North India.

Lately, Sanya choreographed a song for Aamir's next Secret Superstar, and she gave out some difficult moves for Aamir. But Mr Perfectionist nailed the steps for the musical drama film.

When a famous agency asked her about her experience, Sanya specified, "The fact that I love to dance and love everything associated with it has never been a secret. When director Advait Chandan asked me to choreograph a sequence for Aamir sir in Secret Superstar, I was ecstatic. Not in my wildest dreams could I have imagined doing something so wonderful."

The rains plays a spoilsport for Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar's Manmarziyan!

They made a hit pairing in the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Everybody was looking forward to their next screen outing together.

But regrettably, Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Manmarziyan has been put on hold with rains playing a spoilsport for the makers.

Producer Aanand L Rai, who pronounced the movie with Ayushmann, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi under his home banner "Color Yellow Productions", has now decided to put the movie on the back-burner for the time-being.

As per close sources, almost half of the movie had to be shot in northern India, capturing the winter but since there have been rains across the country, the schedule has been put on hold.

Seemingly, the filmmaker is busy with the pre-production of his next directorial endeavor with Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan and has mutually decided along with the cast and crew to put the movie on the back-burner for the moment.

Previously, Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana director Sameer Sharma was involved with Manmarziyan. But due to creative differences between him and Rai, Sharma dropped out of the project.

Rai then roped in Nil Battey Sannata fame director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari for the film.
