Radhika Apte becomes a financial analyst!

We had stated earlier that actress Radhika Apte too will be seen essaying a pivotal role in forthcoming financial thriller Baazaar, which stars Saif Ali Khan, Chitrangda Singh and newbie Rohan Mehra, the son of late actor Vinod Mehra and now, we have some facts about Radhika’s role in the movie.

From what we have heard, Radhika, who has been paired opposite Rohan, will be seen essaying an ambitious financial analyst in the movie. Offering additional particulars about her role, producer Nikkhil Advani tells that Radhika’s character Priya has no qualms using her sexuality to climb the corporate ladder. Seemingly, Radhika will be seen in a hot role in the movie, which is reportedly ‘inspired’ by Michael Douglas–Charlie Sheen starrer Wall Street.

Baazaar, produced by KYTA Productions and Emmay Entertainment, releases this December.

Chitrangda Singh to become Saif Ali Khan's wife now!

Actor Saif Ali Khan is set to essay a businessman in Gauravv K Chawla's Baazaar and the story revolves around the Indian stock market. Joining him is Chitrangda Singh who will be essaying the role of Mandira, Saif's wife.

There were reports that Chitrangda replaced Prachi Desai for the role but Nikkhil Advani who is the producer insists that Singh was always the first choice.

Nikkhil told to a famous tabloid, "I'm happy that the cast is looking so exciting. We have Saif, Chitrangda, Radhika Apte and Rohan Mehra (making his acting debut). The shoot has just begun and will be wrapped up by mid-August while the film is slated for a December release. Prachi has expressed interest in working with my production house but that is for another project. As far as the role of Mandira in Baazaar is concerned, Gauravv K Chawla, my director, came up with the idea of casting Chitrangda."

Chitrangda will be seen after a break of two years so is Baazaar a sort of comeback for the actress? Nikkhil told, "I won't call it a comeback but just the fact that she hasn't done anything for quite some time was instrumental in us considering her because it's a powerful character that's silent and simmering, like a volcano about to erupt.Casting her opposite Saif makes the film about strong actors and characters."

Baazaar is scheduled for a December release this year and Saif has already started shooting for the movie. Radhika Apte will be playing Saif's secretary in the movie.

Nimrat Kaur-Saif and Fatima Sana Shaikh-Rohan Mehra will make new pairs for the Baazaar!

But now, as per to a tabloid, the script after a few altercations is ready and Saif is all set to begin shooting for it.

But, the lead actresses aren't pronounced yet. If the news are to be believed, then actress Nimrat Kaur has been approached for the role of the leading lady. Seemingly, she will be romancing Saif in the thriller that is based on the stock market.

Baazaar also makes the debut of Vinod Mehra's son Rohan Mehra and a hunt for an actress opposite him too, was on. It seems, Dangal girl Fatima Sana Shaikh has bagged the role. Fatima would be seen opposite Rohan in the film.

But, no official announcements have been made yet.

In the meantime, Baazaar recently grabbed headlines when its producer Ekta Kapoor opted out of it. While initially it was touted that she chose to part ways over the budget of the movie and issues with Nikkhil Advani, the producers of the movie Emmay Entertainment explained that the split was friendly and they are open to working with Ekta in the near future.

Apart from Baazaar, Saif Ali Khan is also gearing up for the release of his movies Chef and Kaala Kaanti. While Chef has been wrapped up last month, Kaala Kaandi is under post production. Remarkably, Saif is also approached for Aanand L Rai's next and an pronouncement about it shall be made soon.
