The final stage of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is drawing near. Following three days of performances in Miami, the pop icon will conclude the tour by visiting stadiums in New Orleans and Vancouver, Canada.
The singer explained to the crowd at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida why she chose
to visit the particular places on her final tour stop. Swift said she wanted
her most recent performances to be exciting and engaging for the crowds.
The Grammy-winning singer explained something to the audience before she sang her iconic song Lover in Miami. She disclosed, “We decided, if we’re going to end this tour, eventually it has to happen; we gotta pick the crowds and the cities and the places where the crowds are going to be passionate and enthusiastic, screaming the words to every single song, like the most fun crowds imaginable.”
Taylor Swift revealed, "There would not have been a better destination than Miami to kick off the end of the tour," to a boisterous applause from her admirers. At her most recent weekend-long concert in Miami, the singer invited special guest Florence Welch to join her on stage.
Florida, which was featured on the singer's most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, was crooned along to by Welch and the Anti-Hero singer. Swift is the only musician to have performed at Wembley Stadium eight times, with Michael Jackson coming in second. Welch and Swift both performed there in August.
Before Swift performed the songs for the Miami audience, she posted a video of herself walking through the empty stadium. "Back in the Office," she captioned the video, with a funny photo of her cat accompanying her.
Beginning in Arizona in March 2023, the singer's Eras Tour made stops in the
US, Europe, and Australia before coming to an end in Canada.
