After his close buddy Baba Siddique, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party, was killed on October 12, 2024, by three attackers, superstar Salman Khan has enhanced his security cover. Khan has now tightened the security around Y-plus in reaction to the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's mounting threats. Despite these threats, a fresh source states that the actor will continue to film Sikandar, the action film directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, under heightened protection.
It was claimed that the actor had to cancel all of his
filming to attend Siddique's burial, which caused uncertainty about how his
schedule would work moving forward.
A newspaper was apparently informed by Khan's administration that the
accusations were "not true." A person familiar to the film claims
that the actor's protection has been boosted even on set.
Even though there has always been protection around Salman Khan, the insider
said that eight or ten additional personnel have recently been employed, and
their responsibility is to do reconnaissance before to Khan's arrival.
The report added that only minor adjustments had been made
to the schedule in the preceding few days, rather than any significant ones.
Additionally, it stated that while there would be a slight effect on the
upcoming schedule, it wouldn't be very big.
It used to be expected that filming would wrap up by November or December, but
now it's more likely to wrap up by January at the latest. They did, however,
emphasize that, for the time being, everyone's safety comes first.
Meanwhile, major roles in Sikandar are played by Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal,
Prateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi, and Rashmika Mandanna. The movie will be
released in theaters in 2025, just in time for Eid.
