It’s the era of official remakes.
After Sidharth Anand’s Bang Bang and Prawaal Raman’s
upcoming Dobaara, it’s now Umesh Shukla’s turn to adapt a foreign hit for desi
audiences. The filmmaker is going to helm a retelling of the Korean comedy
Miracle in Cell No.7, which centers on a wrongfully imprisoned mentally
challenged man who develops a bond with his fellow inmates. Umesh will start
work on the project after he wraps up his Big B and Rishi Kapoor starrer 102
Not Out, so watch this space for updates.
