After impressing the viewers with her power-packed acts in
action-thrillers like Baby and Naam Shabana, it seems that Taapsee Pannu might
just star in another thriller.
News has it that Taapsee will star in the movie adaptation
of Shiv Aroor’s novel Operation Jinnah, which is a military special forces
thriller. Murmurs began, when people noticed that the girl on the cover of
Aroor’s book has a striking similarity to Taapsee. The author and the actress
also had a discussion on Twitter and that has set the tongues wagging even
more.
Operation Jinnah is about a girl, who gets kidnapped by
Pakistani terrorists. The Indian Prime Minister then plays a delicate game of
politics with Pakistan’s Prime Minister to get his daughter back. Given her
previous movies, we feel Taapsee would be the perfect choice to play the
protagonist in the movie.
