Presently slaying with his act in Star Plus' P.O.W, actor
Sahil Salathia is winning admirations for his role of a strong
antagonist. Seemingly, Sahil has undergone a huge transformation for his
role in POW. He has worked on changing his entire look from a
boy-next-door to a rugged terrorist, the face of jihad.
Sahil, while explaining over the same told, "It's
amazing that you all notice the transformation from Arjun to Yussuf! Yussuf
needed me to be a little beefy with a super thick messy beard! Yussuf
is always with his surma on, has green eyes and keeps quite a few
guns handy all the time! (laughs) But that's him! And he speaks in a certain
way considering he is from Pakistan and is obviously, not an
urban Pakistani so, I had to work on the language since he does
use a lot of Urdu, of course!" He further said, "For Everest, I
had to go really lean since mountaineers have very low-fat percentage in their
bodies and Arjun was a world class mountaineer, hence, he had to be super lean
and flexible but in POW, Yussuf loves his meat biryani too much and is as
masculine as you get them, he has his fat and muscle intact. I weigh about 75
kgs here which is quite beefy!"
Sahil marked his debut in Ashutosh Gowariker's show, Everest.
The actor was seen in a boy next door and charming look whilst he played Arjun
in the show.
