We recently saw a photo of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan leaning on
MIL Jaya Bachchan's shoulder. This loveable pic was clicked at the Stardust
Awards 2016 where Aishwarya won an award for her act in the movie Sarbjit. Well,
as cute as the picture is, the story behind the pic is even more prettier.
Seemingly, as Abhishek Bachchan was the host of the evening,
Aishwarya was hoping that he would announce her award. But when he didn't, a saddened
Ashwarya leaned on MIL Jaya with that cute expression. A trustworthy source
from the events told, "Abhishek was the host for the evening and when
Aishwarya's award was announced, it wasn't done by him. So she leaned to her
mom-in-law basically telling, 'aawwww he didn't announce it'."
Well, Ashwarya finally had her request granted. While the
award was given to the actress by father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya
wanted Abhishek to be present by her side during this great
moment. Abhishek was backstage preparing for the next segment. But when he
learnt that Aishwarya was missing his presence, the caring husband made it a
point to walk up to the stage and congratulate her wife Aishwarya.
