Alia Bhatt has
walked out of the Rock On!! sequel to star in Abhishek Chaubey’s next film
instead.
The actress would
have ideally liked to do both films, but a clash of dates meant that she had to
pick between them instead. She’s opted for the Ishqiya director’s movie Udta
Punjab, which focuses on the rampant use of drugs in North India .
Udta Punjab will
also feature Shahid Kapoor, and begins filming in February. Don’t be surprised
if Shraddha Kapoor bags Rock On!! 2 in her stead.
