Actor Sanjay Kapoor has turned a new leaf in his life. His
first movie as a producer, Tevar, featuring his nephew Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi
Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee is considered as the first big release of 2015.
Unluckily, Sanjay failed to make his mark as an actor like
brother Anil Kapoor, but that doesn’t bother him, as he believes the young
generation of Kapoors’ – nephew Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Harshwardhan
Kapoor (Anil Kapoor’s children) and Mohit Marwah (son of Boney Kapoor’s sister
Reema and Sandeep Marwah) are capable enough to take the legacy of their highly
regarded Kapoor family ahead.
Ask him alike Arjun, is he contemplating to make a movie
featuring the other talented young Kapoors, to which he tells, “Sonam and
Arjun will definitely not be paired because they are brother-sister. The same
goes with Harshwardhan and Mohit.”
“If there’s a script wherein they could fit as characters
then why not? But definitely they cannot be paired as lovers. We have never
planned things like that. That’s why Anil and I have never done any film
together. We will never plan it like that. If I have to make a film featuring
all Kapoors then I’ll have to make Amar Akbar Anthony,” adds the
actor-producer.
As an actor, Sanjay will be next seen in Vikas Bahl’s
Shaandar featuring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
