Folks have been waiting to catch the first glimpse of Karan Johar's twin babies - Yash and Johar. Previously, he posted a picture of their tiny little feet which left people to go aww instantaneously.

Now, the filmmaker lastly shared their first official picture and we can't stop gushing over it. In the image, Karan's mother Hiroo Johar is seen holding Roohi and Yash affectionately.

Karan Johar’s suggestions for his kids Roohi and Yash's nursery created by Gauri Khan?

Filmmaker Karan Johar is one doting father who ensures only the best for his children Roohi and Yash. The new father in town is also protective towards them and has made sure that no photographs of them have leaked online.

Furthermore, Karan has a special nursery made for his babies at his residence and it is designed by none other than his best friend Gauri Khan. KJo shared a series of pictures on Instagram and they are too sweet. In one of the photographs shared, we could see a shelf which had many toys, baby shoes and photo frames and it had a very homely and comforting feel to it.

Furthermore, there are walls which are filled with bird designs. It also had a picture of a cow skull and vultures which were included to ward off the evil powers from the children. Now, as per a leading daily, an astrologer advised Karan to remove those pictures as they might not be right for the children.

Earlier, when Karan was asked if parenting is a big responsibility, he had said, "Absolutely, and I keep saying that they are my most ambitious productions (laughs). I have to make sure that I nurture them, love them, and I am accountable to them. I really want to be that kind of a parent because in my case, I have a dual responsibility. It’s like you get two for the price of one (smiles). My children will have the rare distinction of celebrating Mother’s Day as well as Father’s Day. I’m happy to have that responsibility since I’m ready for it."

Karan Johar feels his 45th birthday very special due to kids Yash and Roohi!

Karan Johar confronted all the stereotypes when he decided to become a single father to twins - Roohi and Yash - through surrogacy. Recently, the filmmaker has turned 45 and in an interview with a famous tabloid, he told that Roohi and Yash might not know but they are indeed making his birthday special. 

The filmmaker told, "Yes, it’s my first birthday with my babies, though they don’t know that. But they don’t know that they are making the day their papa turns 45 so special." How does it feel like turning 45? Johar told, "I can’t believe I’m turning 45. I don’t feel it at all in my head or in my heart. And I’m definitely not behaving like a 45-year-old (laughs). Actually, it’s the first time in many years that I have thought, 'Should I be wearing this? I’m now 45.' For the first time, I’m thinking that I should consider some of my wardrobe choices. But besides that, I can’t believe I have reached this number. I feel the same the way I did when I turned 30. For me, age is just a number, and I’m going to say that even if I don’t believe it, as it makes me feel good, temporarily."

Does he love celebrating his birthday? Johar further added, "I pretend not to [get excited] because, after a certain age, it sounds really stupid (smiles). And it’s cool to say that you aren’t excited about your birthday and sound blasé and make everyone feel that you are superior and above it. But I love my birthday, opening and receiving [gifts], and especially, all the importance, attention and everything else. I have always been like that, at least since I was two. So it’s been 43 years of me being excited about it, but I put up a big act [of not being excited]."

Taimur, Roohi and Yash would be perfect for Student of the Year 10, says Kareena Kapoor Khan!

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan welcomed a baby boy Taimur Ali Khan on December 20, 2016, while her best friend and filmmaker Karan Johar became a proud parent to twins Roohi and Yash Johar via surrogacy on February 7, 2017. 

One can't help but surprise if the trio is going to be BFF's just like their parents are. It looks like Kareena has already made plans for Taimur, Roohi and Yash. 

In an interview on a talk show, Kareena disclosed that Taimur, Roohi and Yash would be perfect for Student of the Year 10. She has also spoken to Karan about this and looks like KJo approves too. 

In an interview with a famous tabloid, Karan had disclosed how he is already planning a vacation with his twins and Kareena's son. He told, "I’m also looking forward to them travelling with me when I go outstation on shoots. Bebo’s son Taimur is a few months older than Roohi and Yash, and she and I have already started making plans for holidays together!”

Preity Zinta’s magical experience to meet with KJo’s twins Yash and Roohi!

Filmmaker Karan Johar lately pronounced the birth of his twins - Yash and Roohi via surrogacy. The filmmaker is obviously delighted with the new arrivals in his life and so are his friends from the industry.

Last week, Karan Johar took his little munchkins home and since then a lot of celebs have been visiting his house to catch a glimpse of the babies. After Gauri Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, actress Preity Zinta took time out and visited Karan's house last night.

KJo hosted a little party and Preity attended the same and also got to meet both Yash and Roohi. Zinta expressed her experience of meeting the twins on her Twitter with a very cute tweet.

She tweeted, "It was an overwhelming & magical experience to see @karanjohar & #Yash & #Roohi together absolutely in love with those two cuties Ting."

Karan had shared the good news of him turning a father in March. Since the babies were born premature, they were kept in the hospital for a few days before the newest father in tinsel town took them home. Karan had expressed his joy on Twitter with a post that read, "I feel enormously blessed to be a parent to these pieces of my heart. I would be eternally grateful to her for fulfilling my lifelong dream. She will always remain in my prayers."

OMG! Karan Johar becomes a proud father of twins Yash and Roohi!

Filmmaker Karan Johar astonished the industry and the audience when he pronounced the birth of his twins Yash and Roohi yesterday. While it came as a pleasant surprise to numerous, what people were really wondering was that how did he keep such big news under wraps.

As per to a famous daily, seven days after the birth of his kids, Karan had hosted a singles only party on Valentines and still managed to keep the news a secret.

An actor, who was present at the party, on condition of anonymity said the daily, "I knew he wanted to have children someday, but I had no idea he was bringing his babies home this soon. Now that I think of it, Karan was not his usual self. He kept excusing himself frequently. But for those who had no idea, they couldn't have guessed."

Not just his friends but also people working under his production house Dharma Productions were shocked with the pronouncement. A source close to the production house informed, "I don't think anyone in office was aware about it either. Even last month, Karan followed his usual schedule and would come to work every other day."

Only Karan's close friends like Gauri Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Manish Malhotra knew about this lovely addition in his life, a step that he always desired to take and about which he had mentioned in his recently released book An Unsuitable Boy. He wrote, "I don't know what I am going to do about it, but I feel like I would like to be a parent. I don't know how it's going to happen, but I do feel the need because I have plenty of love to offer and I'd like to take it forward (sic)."

A unit member who worked on Karan's movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil said the daily, "Over the last few years, he was getting increasingly lonely. He even brought home a pup, Nobu, last year. Though constantly surrounded by friends, who are no less than family, he craved kids of his own. I found out about the surrogacy last December. When I asked Karan, all he said was that I must keep it a secret. We all adore him and respect his wishes."

 "Nothing about his schedule changed in February. He continued to work at the same pace, overseeing promotions of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, curating his chat show and other work commitments," further adds another source.

A close friend of Karan reveals, "I can imagine him as a paranoid parent, spoiling his kids; I can't see him as a disciplinarian. But it's early to say what kind of a parent he will be. Let's just say, he will make a wonderful father."
