Rajkummar Rao’s latest romance with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Fanney Khan!

Ever since Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra announced that he is making a movie titled Fanney Khan with Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead, the curiosity of the fans has gone onto some other level. Just a while back, there were reports that R Madhavan will be romancing Aishwarya in the film.

A source was quoted saying, “Fanney Khan marks the directorial debut of Atul Manjrekar, who has been a part of the ad world and is a long-time associate of Mehra. For the last couple of weeks the producers, Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra, Bhushan Kumar and Prernaa Arora along with Aishwarya have been locked in a bitter struggle to find the right hero opposite the actress. There was a choice between Madhavan and RajKummar Rao with Aishwarya and Prernaa on one side opting for Rao and Mehra insisting on Madhavan. Ash, who likes to be involved in each and every aspect of a film, and Prernaa wanted the younger Rao to romance the actress in the film while Mehra was extremely impressed by Madhavan’s acting abilities. The discussions kept going on till the solution was finally cracked late on Wednesday afternoon – and the answer was Madhavan!”  

But, then the reports of Rajkummar Rao replacing Madhavan replacing Madhavan started doing the rounds. Now, the director has confirmed that Rajkummar is on board now. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra took to Twitter to announce the news and wrote, "#FanneyKhan @AnilKapoor @RajkummarRao @divyadutta25 @TSeries @kriarj #Ash welcome aboard Raj tighten your seat belt for the roller coaster."

In an interview, the co-producer of Fanney Khan, Prernaa Arora had spoken about the movie's shoot schedule and Aishwarya's role. She had said, "The team starts building the set in Mumbai next month and Anil will kick off shooting in the first week of August. Aishwarya joins him by the month-end and the film will wrap up in a start-to-finish schedule by October."

When quizzed about Aishwarya's role, Prernaa had revealed, "Ash was blown away by her glamorous and “highly stylised” character. We took the script to her two months ago and she immediately gave her nod."

Actor Rajkummar Rao has time and again showed his mettle through his dedication and acting skills. Now, he is all set to essay the role of Pritam Vidrohi in Bareilly Ki Barfi. Rajkummar's character as Pritam Vidrohi in Bareilly Ki Barfi is a guy who is naive and vulnerable. Speaking about it, he told "My process of being an actor has always been the same. It's just that people are now giving me varied roles and noticing me. I am getting films like Omerta, Trapped and Bareilly Ki Barfi, where I get to portray a multi-shaded character, who looks, sounds and behaves differently. That's what I look for as an actor -roles that can push and challenge my limits."

He went on to add, "Some roles take a toll on your mental and physical health. Trapped was a tough and gruelling shoot and Omerta was explosive. Yes, Bareilly... is a lighter film, but it was a tough role for me as I had to portray a character with diverse shades without going overboard. In one scene itself, I had to show two different sides to my character and that was difficult. Ashwiny's film is quirky and the characters are so rooted that you can smell India in it."

Rajkumar also made news for his weight transformation.  The actor earlier took to Instagram and shared a picture which shows his transformation from Behen Hogi Teri to Bose. It's simply amazing to see his transformation. Rao also posted, "#AnActorsLife #Building a character. From Behen Hogi Teri to Trapped to currently shooting for #Bose. Nothing gives me higher than preparing and living a character."

Not just did he gain weight, but also got a haircut to give an authentic feel to the character of Subhash Chandra Bose. He shared his picture a while ago and wrote, "Got a haircut done for #Bose. We'll soon put out the first look as Bose. Until then, these r the post hair cut pictures.Thank U @AalimHakim."

Gone are the days when enjoying a movie or dinner with a co-star would be called a date, reveals Kriti Sanon!

Bollywood stars Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput's relationship status has been in the headlines for the longest time now. The twosome is always quick to deny the dating rumours but the recent dinner and movie dates have raised the question again.

When Kriti was questioned about the same by a famous tabloid, the actress specified, "Gone are the days when enjoying a movie or dinner with a co-star would be called a date. There is nothing wrong in being friends with your co-actors and if that involves dinners or movies, why not? It's sad if I stop socialising with a friend, just because people are cooking up stories. I am not answerable to anyone. I would still hang out with my male friends and people can assume anything they like. As for Sushant, I don't have control over what people talk about us. I have already spoken enough about it."

When questioned if she is romantic in real life, Kriti disclosed, "I am a romantic at heart. I think most girls are. I love watching romcoms, love stories and I am a diehard Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge fan.However, it has been some time since I went on a proper date. I am the kind of girl who prefers enjoying a meal at home, watching a film in my pyjamas, or walking around the beach instead of going on an expensive date.That way, I am not a high maintenance girlfriend."

In the meantime, Kriti will next be seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Bareilly Ki Barfi which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao. Bareilly Ki Barfi is slated to release on August 18. 2017.

Shahid Kapoor is a boring husband for wife Mira Rajput!

Bollywood powerful couple Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput were all loved up on the green carpet of the IIFA Awards 2017. While Shahid looked dapper in a custom made Anuj Madaan couture grey suit with a black shirt, Mira complimented him in a tangerine coloured dress with a belt that cinched her waist.

While on the green carpet, Shahid spoke about how he has not been giving enough time to his lady love, as per to a famous tabloid. 

He told, "My wife thinks I'm a boring husband because I've been working for the past three days. She's like, 'You've come all the way and you have no time.' But having said that we'll get a couple of days off when IIFA is over. She has been kind to take care of Misha on her own and allow me to take care of my work, but we're hoping to spend some more time in the coming days.”

While Mira got frank about how she was spending quality time with their adorable daughter, Misha. She told, "I've been taking Misha around, showing her NYC, showing her Central Park and museums. Shahid has joined us on a couple of occasions."

Lately, in an interview with a famous tabloid, Mira got honest about how Shahid is as a dad. She told, "Shahid's relationship with Misha started right from the moment when he got to know that I was pregnant. Fatherhood comes naturally to him. He is fully involved and he changed her diaper even before I did. Shahid wants to be connected to her always and I think that's great. Misha is going to have him wrapped around her little finger.”
