Akshay Kumar to reveal about some unique habits of son Aarav!

With a number of successful films, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has gained widespread recognition in the film industry for more than a decade. The two kids he had with Twinkle Khanna, the daughter of Rajesh Khanna, whom he married, are Aarav and Nitara. He recently gave information on his child, Aarav, describing him as a very simple young man.

Akshay further revealed that Aarav doesn't want to work in the film industry and that he wears used clothes.

In spite of the actor's objections, Akshay Kumar revealed in a chat show discussion with cricket player Shikhar Dhawan that his son Aarav left home at the age of 15.

He disclosed, "My son Aarav is studying at the university in London. He left home at the age of 15. He was always fond of studying and wanted to stay alone. It was his decision to move, even though I didn’t want him to go. However, I could not stop him because I left my home at the age of 14."

The Ram Setu actor expressed his admiration for his son's grounded attitude by highlighting his preparedness to handle household chores independently and his choice for pragmatism above extravagance. He further disclosed, "He does his own laundry, he is a good cook, does the utensils, and doesn’t even want to buy expensive clothes. In fact, he goes to a second-hand store, Thrifty, to buy clothes because he doesn’t believe in wastage."

Adding to the tension that they have never placed on him, Akshay disclosed that his son has little interest in watching movies. He also brought up Aarav's love of fashion and his intention to avoid the film business. Akshay claims that the actor informed his child that it was his life and that he should follow his desires when the child confided in him and stated he wasn't interested in acting.

Aarav dislikes father Akshay Kumar’s favourite sport!

Dynamic actor Akshay Kumar opened up about his love for cricket and why Aarav dislikes it when he became part of Star Sports Philips Hue Cricket Live, reads a statement.

"My son isn't into cricket, but my daughter (Nitara) is. She is just six years old and loves cricket. My son hates cricket because I watch the sport a lot. But my daughter loves it when I watch (it), because then even she gets a chance to watch it," he revealed.

"I played cricket for my school. Usually players are selected for their bowling and batting skills. But I remember being taken into the team for my fielding skills. People used to say 'this boy is for fielding, he will run around and stop boundaries'," further revealed Akshay.

Superstar Akshay Kumar was lately in London for the shoot of his forthcoming comedy film Housefull 4. In the film, Akshay will be seen along with Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon and Bobby Deol among others. The film is tentatively scheduled for a release next year, but, no official pronouncement on the same has been made.

Akshay also stole some time off with his family members abroad. Twinkle Khanna, son Aarav Bhatia and daughter Nitara joined him for a quick vacation. Sharing a collage with the trio, Akshay captioned the photo, "Another beautiful holiday comes to an end and before getting back to the grind, cherishing some precious moments from the past month...until the next one #lifelines"

Twinkle told everything about periods to son Aarav, reveals Akshay Kumar!

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's PadMan is based on the motivating life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, an innovator obsessed with the idea of creating cost-effective sanitary pads. In a country where menstruation is still a taboo and people aren't much comfortable speaking about it, Akshay has taken a big step to at least start a change.

Directed by R. Balki and produced by Twinkle Khanna's home production Mrs. Funnybones Productions, PadMan has been creating all the right buzz. At a media communication lately, Akshay was asked now that he has openly come out in lieu of this topic - Is son Aarav also aware of it?

On this, Akshay told, "Twinkle Khanna told everything about periods to son Aarav. Nothing is hidden in our family. We don't live double-faced lives. We have kept it very open."

Did Akhay know everything about menstruation in detail? Akhay further added that it was one and half years ago that he actually got to know about it in detail when he started prepping for the movie. He also added that presently, it's 82% of the female population of our country who don't have the access to sanitary pads. He hopes that even if 5% women out of 82% get the awareness, he has won the battle.

Talking about the issue further, Akshay revealed, "This problem is there in every country but in ours, it's huge. It's an important film. Ye ek aisa mudda hai jo har koi haath nai lagta. I am catering it as a love story with a social message."

Actor Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan has already become a famous celebrity in his own right and is a spitting image of his father from his 90's.

"Yes. Ibrahim, Aarav (Akshay Kumar’s son) and that group of youngsters want six packs and aspire to be Bollywood stars. I don’t know if anyone wants to be an actor. It is kind of disturbing because not everyone makes it," revealed Saif. 

He was quick to add that he too initially just wanted to be a "star" and told, "But then what the heck?  Talking of being a star, my wife points out that till a few years ago, even I didn't want to be an actor, I wanted to be a star (laughs)."

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is presently in Cape Town with his family and close friends as they welcomed 2018 in South Africa.

Speaking about his family trip with wife Twinkle Khan and kids Aarav and Nitara, Akshay revealed a leading daily, “We have done nothing but eat and chase all the kids around the mountains. People think I’m lucky because I’m famous, but there’s nothing more fulfilling than being an average dad doing average things but still bringing the biggest smiles to the ones I love."

Speaking more about how adventurous Aarav and Nitara are, the doting father disclosed, "My kids, they can be doing anything they wish, but as long as I’m in their vicinity, I’m happy. Aarav loves adventure and even my little princess likes to get mucky just as long as she’s wearing pink or purple when she’s doing it. I’m not a star at home, I’m a son, husband, brother and father first. And my kids have been brought up knowing I’m just like every other man trying his best, the only thing they witness out of the ordinary is the paparazzi. They come to see all my films with humble hearts and never with an attitude of supremacy. That comes from teaching them that everyone is equal and only opportunities changes the outcome of people’s lives not momentary status."

While the last time he was spotted outside a theatre, even this time he was spotted outside a suburban theatre. This time he was spotted with a lady friend of his and he playfully sidestepped the shutterbugs who were constantly clicking his pictures. He rapidly made his way to the car and left. 

Aarav looked attractive in a black tee, plaid shirt and black pants. He sported black sneakers and an army green cap.

It seems like ‘like father, like son’ is the most suitable telling that defines the bond between Akshay Kumar and adolescent son Aarav. Aarav like his father is a fitness freak and the duo as we know share a similar passion for martial arts. But, it now seems like, in addition to this one commonality, Aarav like Akshay is tremendously popular among girls.

The 14-year-old was lately spotted at a coffee lounge in Bandra with a female friend. The two friends got out of Akshay’s SUV that had a chauffeur and went inside the parlour.

And because the youngsters stepped out of the Akshay’s car, it appears that permissions and consents were all sorted at father Akshay’s end!
