Recently, Hrithik Roshan took to social media to pen a
heartwarming note for father Rakesh Roshan and along with a photo of the two,
Hrithik disclosed that his father has been diagnosed with early-stage squamous
cell carcinoma of the throat. But what is commendable is that as Hrithik’s
father goes for his surgery today, Rakesh Roshan made sure he worked out right
before his surgery and in the photograph, we see Rakesh Roshan posing with his
son.
Hrithik posted, “Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew
he wouldn't miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know.
Got diagnosed with early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few
weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a
family, we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him.”
On the film front, Rakesh Roshan was all set to direct the
fourth installment of the Krrish franchise, which would see Hrithik in the lead
role and Krrish 4 is slated to hit the theatres on Christmas 2020.
