Shraddha Kapoor has tough time for Saina Nehwal biopic’s preparation?

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, who is eventful in preparation for Saina Nehwal's biopic is finding it tough to pick the badminton game, say reports. Shraddha also lately injured her leg and it may lead to delay in the movie. The Saina Nehwal biopic that was supposed to go on the floors this month is postponed as the makers want the actress to look convincing enough as a badminton player.

Shraddha is taking regular training sessions from the last one-and-a-half-months to learn the game from former badminton player Pullela Gopichand, who has been Saina's coach. As reported by a daily, a source revealed, "Despite regular sessions, it has been a tough ride for Shraddha. With the amount of prep left for Shraddha, the project will start rolling only by the first quarter of next year."

Shraddha, who is quite eager about the movie and learning the game told, "I try to go five times a week at 6 am, besides hitting the gym to attain the physicality of a badminton player."

Not only her struggle to learn the game but her fresh leg injury during a practice session has also caused in the delay of film's shooting. Shraddha's leg injury will take at least a week more to heal.

When director Amole Gupte was questioned about the delay in the shooting, he told that he is unwell from the past one week. A production insider revealed, "There is no official deadline on the film. Amole wants to make a good movie and that's our priority. Even if there's a slight delay, we have their back."


Shraddha had previously revealed that badminton player Saina Nehwal had given her some basic tips on playing the game. The beautiful actress even visited the player's house and played the game with her. Kapoor revealed, "She upgraded my knowledge about the game, especially about the shots. Saina told me that each and every shot needs to be hit as hard as possible. Never hit any shot without your full strength."
