I am kind of spoilt and choosy when it comes to taking up new shows, says Gaurav Chopra!

A new show is ready to launch on the tube and will star Gaurav Chopra and Daljiet Kaur in the leads. Tentatively titled Kidnap, the show will be the first outing of Gaurav and Dalljet together.

When we questioned Gaurav about the show, he told, "We are discussing the show. It is a multi-starrer and has the cast of big and prominent names and I am playing the lead. But, still we have to shoot a teaser, it will go to the channel and will wait for its approval. I think until the time the confirmation comes from their end, there's nothing we can say about it yet. We are sort of in discussion for the show and it's a thriller. It's one of its kind, not your regular show, in fact, it will remind people a lot of western television thrillers."

Speaking about his excitement for the new venture, Gaurav further added, "I am quite excited otherwise wouldn't have said yes. I am kind of spoilt and choosy and take my time for things that I think would be exciting. You know to get up every day in the morning, go to shoot and spend more time there than you do with your family, we need to have that basic senses about the project otherwise we shouldn't have said yes."

He ended conversation by revealing, "This is different from what I have done before and is very layered as the character is very challenging. But the most beautiful part of the whole thing is that the producers and the writer Mitali, the same lady who wrote Uttaran and Gulmohar Grand when she called me for this, I actually didn't even think about it. I just told her when to come for the shoot. I didn't discuss anything with her. People who show faith in you, you have done great work with them and it has been successful, that all counts before."
