Jackie heads down under!

If you’re one of the lucky people that has plans to see Salman Khan live in action during his world tour next month then I have some more good news for you!

Bhai has added Jacqueline Fernandez to his supporting acts that also include big names like Sonakshi Sinha, Prabhudheva and Badshah. Just so you know though, Jackie will only make a special appearance on stage so her performance will be more of a cameo than anything else. I’m sure the ticket-paying public of Australia and New Zealand is very excited to see her!

Sushant leads by example!

Sushant Singh Rajput is the new ambassador of an India-wide campaign that focuses on rallying the aam junta to better the nation.

The movement hopes to impact the three key areas of health, hygiene and environment, and SSR will use his voice to encourage his fans to do the right thing. At this point the initiative is focusing on protecting underprivileged kids from dengue, planting more trees and organizing cleanup drives. See how you can help out too.

John Abraham seeks justice!

John Abraham has played a cop in Rocky Handsome, Dishoom and Force 2, and now he’s going to play a make-believe policeman again.

This time John will don the khaki vardi for Amar Kaushik’s directorial debut that’s been tentatively titled Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga. The movie will be a cat-and-mouse type action-thriller, and it will also feature Tamannaah Bhatia in a leading role. Let me know if you’re looking forward to seeing John laying down the law again!

Writer returns to the screen!

Javed Akhtar will join his wife Shabana Azmi on screen in Nandita Das’s Manto biopic.

While Shabana will play Sanjay Dutt’s legendary grandmother Jaddanbai, her other half will make a cameo appearance as a college principal who defends Manto’s right to express himself. This will be the renowned writer’s first screen appearance since 2009’s Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye, and he’s a bit nervous to be facing the camera again. Don’t worry Javed saab, it’s just like riding a bike!

Disha Patani heads in a new direction!

Jackie Chan has inspired people around the world with his martial arts skills, and now he’s motivated Disha Patani to learn some traditional fight forms too.

The girl from Bareilly is taking Jackie’s advice and going to Shanghai to train at her Kung Fu Yoga director Stanley Tong’s martial arts school. Apparently Jackie thinks Disha can make a big name for herself as an action star, so she’ll spend two weeks there perfecting her kicks and punches. I’m sure Jackie knows best!

Akshay walks down memory lane!

Gulshan Kumar’s rags-to-riches story is coming to the big screen.

Akshay Kumar has signed on to play the lead in a film about the man who turned T-Series into a massive empire. The Khiladi knew Gulshanji well since they’d been associated right from Akki’s first film Saugandh, and he says he’s really very honoured to be playing the legend in Subhash Kapoor’s upcoming Mogul. Gulshanji’s wife Sudesh Kumari and his son Bhushan will coproduce the movie, so expect nothing but the truth when this one comes out!
