Akshay Kumar unveils 'Gabbar Is Back' trailer!

Akshay Kumar will be next seen playing a vigilante in Gabbar Is Back and the trailer of the movie, which was disclosed last evening, promises a treat for fans of the Khiladi.

The trailer introduces Akshay Kmar as Gabbar, a rebel and a vigilante, who takes law into his own hands whenever he comes across corruption and goes on to inspire millions of people to fight corruption in their own way. Akshay is looking as rugged and macho as ever with his beard and a no-nonsense scowl. Apart from Akshay, the movie also stars Shruti Haasan and Jaideep Ahlawat.

'Gabbar', which is the remake of South film Ramanna, is slated to release on May 1.

Kangana unveils 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' poster on birthday!

The makers of Tanu Weds Manu Returns unveiled the film's first poster to coincide with lead actress Kangana Ranaut's birthday. A swanky event was held for Kangana, who turned 28.

The film's poster shows Kangana and R Madhavan in all their marriage finery, and there is one more addition to the cast-Kangana's double role avatar who is seen snoozing in all her glory. We have to admit, the look is on the opposite end of the spectrum as she is dressed as a tom boy and is sporting short hair.

There is no doubt that Kangana is an amazing actress and this movie is going to put her to the ultimate test- not only does she have to portray her comedic side, but she also has to do a double role. And considering the success of the first movie, expectations are high for the second instalment.

Salman's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo to have a 13 minutes long song!

Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo featuring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor just became more exciting. The director-actor duo, who have delivered hits like Hum Aapke Hai Koun, which incidentally has a whopping 14 tracks, are making musical history again by including a song which has is 13 minutes long- a record for any Bollywood track.

The sequence will have Salman playing football at a dance ceremony and he will be seen dancing in a kurta and pyjamas. We of course expect all the magnificence of a Rajshri production to be incorporated in the song as well. Will Prem Ratan Dhan Payo create box office history like Hum Aapke Hai Koun? Only time will tell.

Preity Zinta, Chetan Bhagat to judge Nach Baliye 7!

The judges for the seventh instalment of dance reality show Nach Baliye were lately announced and the trio comprises of Preity Zinta, choreographer Marzi Pestonji and best-selling author Chetan Bhagat. Many were astonished with Chetan as a choice to judge a dance show.

The author now tells that he is not a dancer but a motivational speaker and the show is connected with relationships and compatibility between couples. He also tells that he wants to diversify his interests and and explore a different side to his personality. Unintentionally, Ekta Kapoor, who has brought the rights to his recent book Half Girlfriend is producing Nach Baliye as well. Chetan tells that Ekta Kapoor is like family for him and he was comfortable taking up judging duties though it does make him a little nervous.

Kangana to play Sarabjit's sister?

Hansal Mehta, the award winning director behind movies like Shahid and Citylights is working on yet another hard hitting movie - a biopic based on Indian Sarabjit Singh, who was convicted of spying and terrorism in a Pakistani court and eventually died when he was attacked by other prisoners in a Pakistani prison.

The movie will supposedly explore the relationship between Sarabjit and his sister Dalbir Kaur, who spent most of her life fighting to free her brother from jail. While the hunt is on for an actor to essay Sarabjit's role, we hear that Kangana has been approached for Dalbir's character in the movie. Kangana tells that she is very impressed by Hansal's script and can identify with the character as she herself has two siblings to whom she is very close. Sounds like another National award winning film and performance in the making.

I loved the idea of playing a desi guy with Sunny Leone from 300 years ago: Rajniesh Duggall!

Ek Paheli Leela is seeing some good buzz rolling around itself and while Sunny Leone is surely the sizzling element in the reincarnation drama, one man who links the tale between past and present is Rajniesh Duggall.

So from playing an out and out cosmopolitan hunk in number of movies, he is now playing a villager in Ek Paheli Leela. How has that shift been for him?

"It is a contrasting shift which actually sounded quite interesting for me. When Bobby bhai and Ahmed bhai called me for the discussion, I was in the middle of shooting for Direct Ishq Ho Gaya. Once they gave me the gist of the story and narrated the character, I loved the whole idea," tells Rajniesh.

Though he is not disclosing much about his part which may or may not have an appearance in both eras (the Bobby Khan film is set in current times and then goes back 300 years into the past), the fact remains that this production of Bhushan Kumar and Ahmed Khan is being keenly awaited en route its April release.

"Yes, I knew that the whole set up was great as T-Series was producing it with Ahmed bhai. I loved the idea of playing a desi guy with Sunny from 300 years ago and knew that I would get an interesting look. This by itself had its own charm and I knew that I would be able to bring out the X factor," tells Rajniesh in a confident tone.

The movie hits the screens on 10th April.
