The buzz of Colors and Life OK as both airing an forthcoming show Chandrakanta, is sure to give audiences dilemma going ahead.

While Colors show has scheduled its slot for Ekta Kapoor, the Life OK one is to be helmed by Nikhil Sinha. Now as per reports, the Life OK's show is all set to rope in either Shilpa Anand or Surveen Chawla as their lead.

A source said a tabloid, “They want somebody who hasn’t been exposed much on TV. Though Surveen was recently seen in 24 and Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, she hasn’t done a fiction show for a long time. Around seven years ago she had done shows like Kaajal and Kasauti Zindagi Kay. Another actress they have in mind is Shilpa Anand of Dil Mill Gaye fame, who has done only on other fiction show Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaan after which she did a lot of Punjabi films.”

In the meantime, Hina Khan has been rumoured to have been roped in for Ekta Kapoor's Chandrankanta on Colors.

Surveen is all set to entertain the viewers with her electrifying act in the next episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 and she will be seen shaking a leg with Sanam. The twosome has swapped genders for their act and the pictures guarantee that it will be one hell of a performance.

In the meantime, Surveen is gearing up for the release of her next Parched, which hits the theaters this Friday.

Anil Kapoor and Surveen Chawla locks lips in 24 India season 2!

Anil Kapoor, who is presently seen playing counter-terrorism agent Jai Singh Rathod in the second season of TV show 24, will not be an 'all work and no play' Jack this time. News has it that Kapoor will be seen locking lips with actress Surveen Chawla in one of the episodes of the show!

But, Anil Kapoor was quite cool about the kissing scene and told that he has kissed many times in his movies as and when the script required it and that he saw no big deal in locking lips with Chawla in the show as his character is shown to be in a relationship with her.

The second season of the show will see Jai Singh Rathod racing against time to prevent a biological attack on the city.

Faced casting couch down South, not in Bollywood, reveals Surveen Chawla!

Surveen Chawla, who began her career in the entertainment industry as a TV actress, soon proceeded to do movies in Punjab and also down South. The actress, who made her Bollywood debut with Hate Story 2, made a revelation lately.

Not the one to mince words, Surveen Chawla spoke about the much prevailing reality of casting couch incidents and even stated that she herself has faced them. Surveen claimed that while Bollywood has come a long way when it comes to being professional, she faced casting couch incidents down South but never in Bollywood. Surveen has done couple of movies in varied South languages like Tamil and Telugu. The actress went on to add that she did not obviously abide by those demands and that she isn't desperate to find work. Talking about the extreme importance of dignity and self-respect in her life, Surveen maintained that her motto is that work will bring her more work. She also revealed about the importance of working with like-minded filmmakers who understand her love for cinema.
